Pure talent no special effects. No crap. No fake swimming under stage. No fake singers twirling their hips. Nothing but real guitar playing and real vocals.❤❤❤❤❤ Bring back the 60 ‘s
When a man loves a woman was probably the most impactful song ever to be recorded. ❤❤❤ Percy Sledge. A voice that penetrates your whole body, mind and soul.

These are songs from the first season, before the producers let them play their own instruments. I suspected it when the fingering on “I’m a Believer” wasn’t close to how it sounded! Much better than the finale of Shrek, though… 🎶
Es muy memorable toda ésta música,y trae a mi memoria muchos momentos gratos en mi solitaria vida . Aunque no son todas las agrupaciones que existíeron en esos años. Ni los beatles fueron lo máximo,ni los primeros pioneros
Good compilation thank you ❤ 🎶. First grade for me in '66! I miss the variety shows where artists could perform. I guess those times are gone forever - good to enjoy them here though. Cheers!
A fun, swinging, dreamy year for many.~ The ‘66 Loved your work. Nice video w quality, and the interesting info on the screen. I’m appreciated. Thank you for the post. (Liked & Shared)
The Beach Boys were on a whole new level. God Only knows my favorite Beach Boy song. Vocals out of this world. Brian a genius. Even the Beatles said it.
The Monkees Lp had a song for laughs, I'm Gonna Buy Me A Dog; I still rem some of the jokes ("playing cards with the Natives"; "Zulus?" "No, I usually won";😂
Height of British invasion. We did not pay much mind to other artists except the Monkees and those from Motown whose peak would come in the late 60s and early 70s yet
Graduation year! If I could just expound on where we would go to listen to this awesome music all night until 2 or 3 in the morning. Okay, it was a club in Mexico and it was fabulous!
It's nice to put faces to these classics...I was in the 6th grade trying to figure things out...first the 63 Cuban missile crisis which scared me so bad and now the Vietnam war!!...SMH still.
Just like in the 1967 video, you show just Paul performing a Beatles' hit. Why? He didn't do this song as a solo artist. The credit goes to the Beatles--not Paul McCartney as a solo artist. This song appears on their "Yellow Submarine" album. Why not show a clip from "Yellow Submarine" or find one with all of the Beatles instead?
We live in another time. It seems that only those who are still alive stand in the picture. So many GOOD musicians are already gone but their songs are still in our memory and in our hart😊❤
Azért néztem meg, mert én is 66-os vagyok, viszont azt tudom, hogy szüleim ilyen zenéket nem is hallottak, nem is hallhattak, mivel, tombolt a Szovjet elnyomás, a kommunista terror. Magyarországból.

Agreed. Song makes me swoon. Right up there with Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get it on ".

Clips here I never seen before...learned something today too!😊
Paul McCartney said Good Vibrations was the best live performance ever and number 1 song ever written at that time!
Actually, the cited song was God Only Knows. Not GV.
Those really were the days ❤

'God Only Knows' i always thought sounded like 'Don't Sleep in the Subway Darling' by Petula Clark

'live' Spencer Davis Group , Steve Winwood
Thanks the guy pleased bravo encore.
Nice to have Gimme Some Lovin' with the Lyrics ; I loved the song, but I had such a hard time understanding what Steve Winwood was singing
This was the year I started really listening to pop music radio.:-)
John Is the Legend
No doubt at all, he was
Not the dispute between he and Paul McCartney was what shown dramatic and emotional to the fans.😮😅😊
Who is John
@@johndigiacomo6268 not you kid
This is the year the Monkees made their debut. Last train to Clarksville was released before the T.V. series, so no one knew who they were.
The. Monkeys. Davi. I. Think. Was. Good.
I remember that song! And zooming around with a little Monkeemobile in Tom Caskey's basement with it! 🙂
The Monkees Lp had a song for laughs, I'm Gonna Buy Me A Dog; I still rem some of the jokes ("playing cards with the Natives"; "Zulus?" "No, I usually won";😂
@@marvinchase4899 I remember that song.
❤❤1966...the end of my lonelyness!
Familiar sounds. I was born 1966 and my mom must have been listening to this music because o love it. ❤️
I actually prefer the Supremes wearing the same dress, like the Dave Clark Five on Glad All Over had those cool outfits
So. Did. Elvis. 😊
Thunderbirds! Batman! The Monkees! My favorite year of all time.

Eddie's!
I'd go to TJ with my girlfriends
its strange i know all these despite being only 3 years old in 1966 such a long time ago!!
Absolutely 💯. 😊
For me, 1966 was the year of Garage. "We Ain't Got Nothing Yet" (The Blues Magoos) - just one prime example.
many thanks
Great sounds the mad monk is back one cool dude 40:20 40:23
Always loved that edgy telegraph guitar hook on "You Keep Me Hang Me Hanging On!"
Genial
John Is the Legend, and Paul Is jelous about that ,but estory cant be changed
Give me some loving every day are the only words I even understand. lol Like a James Brown song. Great but what’s he singing about? 😊
Solitary Man is from 1971

je me souviens des Troggs à Locronan, ça devait être en 1995
without the gun, no talent Frankie could make a penny next to these other guys
Was that mike Tyson 1966?
I like to go back in time and I would not have a drug addict for a kid he is 46years old

Who cares, everybody knows it is a Beatles song....and this version I have never seen before. Thank you for sharing!
Enjoy don't criticise

Inclusivity. I like that. Well said. I have always felt the same about the Beatles and the press.😮
Why mike Tyson?
I was born in 66..
Used an image of Beatles from probably’69.
LOL. You’re so picky you should make your own perfect video.
Azért néztem meg, mert én is 66-os vagyok, viszont azt tudom, hogy szüleim ilyen zenéket nem is hallottak, nem is hallhattak, mivel, tombolt a Szovjet elnyomás, a kommunista terror. Magyarországból.

I love the Stones but even I know this song was not their best.
