  • While troubleshooting the relay buzzing issue, the land cruiser would not start. After thorough troubleshooting, the fuel pump will have to be replaced. See how I did it.

Awesome! She’s almost ready for the trails! Great explanation and demonstration of just being patient and starting with the basics.

Nice work buddy! I've dropped a few of these tanks and it can be a bit cumbersome. You did a great job showing the diagnosis of a bad pump. This will be very helpful for people who need to go through this repair. Great, straight forward information!

Legacy Land Cruiser, thanks for the comment. I think a lot of people fail to troubleshoot properly. I tried to show my process so guys can really identify the problem.

@@texascustomsand4x4 Yes, I agree. Lots of people can just start. Throwing parts at something rather than getting to the heart of the matter. Again, great job going through it all.

Wow! I'm having the same crank but won't start issue with my 1988 FJ62. I really appreciate you sharing this information. Thank you so much!!

I’m glad you like it. I hope you get yours running soon. Let me know what your problem was. I replaced a cut out relay for a similar problem in one of my earlier videos. You can check that out too if you want to check the relays.

Pretty coincidental that I am have a no fuel issue and you post this video less than a day ago. Thanks for showing the process. I’ll be using this video to move ahead with my replacement.
Do you have the part number for the pump?

It happens. Not that bad depending on the rust situation in your FJ62. Just make sure to take your time loosening the lines so you don't strip out the fuel line fittings. Here is a link to the pump I used on Amazon.

Hi Brother, do you have video of how to get to the fuel injector on FJ62? My 62 needs injector clean or replace.

    isn’t it a mechanical pump?
