One thing I've noticed about all of the therapists in Twix's videos is how much they seem to care about their craft, enjoy their jobs, and how they really seem to put everything into the treatments they give. Their dedication and care is really heartwarming to see.

I recently tried to go to a salon in Kyoto, a famous place that's very expensive, and they literally said they don't deal with foreigners... My Japanese isn't great but not terrible either, but they said condescending things like "Foreigners might not under what a lymphatic drainage massage is and get a shock" and so on... It sounded like they thought I'd never been to a salon before. They kept saying "this is a professional place, not just for relaxation"... Later when I checked their Google reviews, even Japanese people were complaining that the staff were rude, one person even said a staff member kept giggling at her bad posture. Sounded like a place full of snobby bullies. So glad I didn't go. But I definitely want to go to the salon in this video ✨

oh my goodness, the therapist is so pretty! She just has one of those smiles that makes you go :D all these therapists and masseuses are so knowlegable about their craft, it's so wonderful to see. I'm an illustrator and oh boy could I do with this. I've just started watching, but she seems so sweet.
The relaxation of the massages that cause you to fall asleep is being passed on through your videos that often cause me to become drowsy such that I fall asleep. Many times I awaken to you softly telling us that you hope we enjoy your videos.

The extremely soft way this woman touches makes my brain melt. This is actually beautiful. Also I always wondered why Twix looked so serious with the people on the videos who give her the massages, I didn't know if it was her personality, the japanese shyness or maybe both. But I'm thinking that only watching this video I am losing strenght in my hands and I'm melting into my bed, so I could not even imagine how out of this world she should feel in the massages, like she surely is so relax that she can't even move😂

A not so "fun" fact: if you suffer from trauma and you have had to suppress your emotions, a lot of the emotions get stuck in your decollete area. That's at least what has happened to me. When I went to a pressure point massage and they got rid of the tension on that area I burst in tears. It was all the emotions that I had to suppress for years.
This literally happened to me last week! I didn’t know what was happening. I had the best spa treatment, facial, massage etc and when it was over I was so emotional and I didn’t know why!
Are there a lot of massage businesses in Japan? I feel like you post a lot of different places that are all very affordable! We don’t have a lot of options where I live (Washington State in the US) and they are often expensive! I’m super jealous💗💗💗 love all these vids!
Could you please show us a chiropractic session? I am skeptical about the health benefits of western chiropractics and would be interested to see if it differs. Happy to be taught and reform my opinions as needed.
