    Well... Very rare slope climb test...
    The ramp test is the real test for a escooter
    I thank you so much.
    That's very hard to find slope climbing test on TH-cam....
    I was wondering these last week if it was worth buying a escooter because a didn't know if it could climb my parking slope...
    Now i have the answer.
    However i will go for a angwatt t1 which weights more (50kg) but which is much more powerfull, and has more autonomy...
    Thanks a lot for that complete performance presentation of the "King" g2 master.... 👍

    • @Rcschim
      @Rcschim  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, check out the G3 pro (I also reviewed it). Currently I test the Halo Knight T107 (which is very similar to your Angwatt T1) - it's a beast for sure - but I actually would prefer the G3 pro. On paper the Angwatt sounds much better, but the built quality of kukirin g3 pro is the best of the 5 Scooters I've tested so far.
      And the monster with 50kg (Angwatt, Halo Knight) needs to be carried sometimes - that's not good :)
      The G3pro is a bit lighter, and you can take the 9kg battery out to make it even easier to load in you car for example... (or to charge upstairs).
      nice to read you like my slope test. for me the ability to climb is quite important (as I like to go up some mountains). G3 pro is more than capable in this regards.
      greets, Mario

    I just got one 3 days ago. It’s true the G2 Master is an amazing climber. It’s the reason I purchased it, and I am satisfied. Lots of steep streets here, and that little beast rocks them like they’re flat.
    Nothing is ever perfect, so I give you my mod list:
    -I hate the tires. I ride the streets and I’m going to change them right away.
    -The suspension is too stiff. It’s equipped with shocks for a 270 lbs man, and they were preloaded to the the very max of the tuning screw. I will replace them with more supple DNMs that have a rebound control tuning knob.
    -The handlebar is too short, but that’s me. I always find the handlebars too short.
    -I would have liked dual chargers. It does need a long time to charge and since they don’t spec the battery cells, I don’t know the max Amp the battery is safe to charge. I will try a 6 Amp charger and monitor battery temp.
    -I almost forgot, the display is not bright enough in the daylight.
    That’s it for the negatives. Some little things I will add: Key switch and half-twist throttle.
    Now the good points:
    -I like that it’s nimble. It’s fun to ride, carve and jump.
    -It’s brutal in acceleration when on dual motors, yet smooth on single. I love that.
    -It’s very visible at night. A good point for safety.
    -The deck is short but very well designed with the foot rest on the rear. Perfect for sport riding, and wide enough for comfort.
    -Split rims make it easy to service the tires on the curb. Love it.
    -The sinewave controllers are very silent. Appreciate it.
    -Well, not that I care much, but it’s beautiful. Many told me so already.
    -The delivery was very quick and packaging very safe.
    3 days are not much, but I am a long time rider and pretty quick to spot the good and bad characteristics. I doubt that I’ll find much more to say in a month.
    Cheers.

    • @Rcschim

      I already had the battery fail a little bit for me.
      It was around half charge. Made a tour (5km maybe). Rode in grass so it was energy consuming I guess. Then we saw a little steep hill, like 2m high. It barley reached top and after that the voltage was very low. It would give me battery warning and error 5 while slowly riding home.
      In the end I had to push it.
      Changed it overnight to full. Had one of those wifi sockets with power measure, it said 1.4kwh charged (that's about right for a 1kwh battery and not efficient charger).
      When I wanted to ride a day later, it didn't turn on. In the end I had to open the deck, unplug and replug the xt90 and little xt30 concertos, and thank God it worked again. Not problem, full power. On the next full charge, I had no issue.
      What do you think?
      About feedback to the scooter:
      Key lock definitely (like on the k2max). Cruise Control should be easier to engage. Like with a double tap of power. Or a separate knob...
      Suspension: I tried to reduce the spring tension. Worked kinda, but the screw is really hard to turn (even after I found the little lock screw sideways).
      Greets, Mario

    • @SergioFlorente
      @SergioFlorente 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rcschim
      Your battery was not plugged tight. Lost current in heat in the connector. Bad connections are a common cause of battery fire or controller failure. Good that the controller diagnosis did engage.
      I never use cruise control.
      A control that I like and very uncommon, is variable regen. Few controllers have that feature. The twist throttle then, can twist backward and engage regen braking 0 to 100% in a quarter turn.
      Since the controllers of the G2 can be set 5 regen levels, I think progressive regen could be implemented. Worth investigating.
      Cheers

    • @Rcschim
      @Rcschim  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, I'm quite sure the battery connectors both were tight when I unplugged and replugged them.
      To the 5 re-gen levels: please try them and tell me if they make a noticeable difference to you!
      For me it feels like: 0= off
      1-5 is on but same breaking force...
      Same goes for the pa acceleration value .. supposedly a cheap esc ..

    • @SergioFlorente
      @SergioFlorente 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Rcschim
      The regen values are very different, on dual motor especially. I did end up setting it at 4 because 5 was kicking too hard.
      I haven’t tried setting the PA levels. I will.
      If your battery connections were tight, and re-plugging them did solve the problem, you need to suspect a bad solder inside the connector.
