I use a very little bit of wood stain on my edges(very little) and it works for me, it's very affordable. It is good for several applications and materials.

Hi from New Zealand, could you please tell me what glue you used to stick on the brads, sorry had to skim through your video as am dealing with flood damage, I will watch the complete video later when I have time as I have lost a complete floor of my house to the floods , there is so much to throw out and no time to craft but can watch the odd video, yours was great, thank you.

@@yvonneduffy6812 It's because of the Tonga volcano I think. I learnt that airborne particulate matter gathers moisture, forming raindrops which eventually fall. The bigger the particulate matter, the bigger the raindrop (or snowflake/hail) and the more torrential the rainstorm. Australia had terrible fires also; 2019 into 2020, that didn't help. After that we have had widespread flooding too; I lost my stepmum in one flood, March last year. So rapidly rising floodwaters are not to be trifled with. Stay safe. Also I worry about landslides in New Zealand. When I flew into Wellington, I think it was? was mildly horrified at how everyone was built up into the hills. Also watching the planes come in sideways before our flight out was ...fun.

@Kayenne54 oh my goodness I'm so sorry about your stepmum, my first floor was inches deep in minutes, if I hadn't gone downstairs when i had it would have been feet deep as i had a brilliant draft excluder that was stopping the water getting away. I have the main floor that is totally dry, my downstairs area is a bedsit with my piano , couch, chairs, study desk , bookcases as I used to teach piano down there so had lots of resources and a single bedroom . All the furniture, carpets, etc and beds have all been binned but we are safe.
Like you I am concerned about houses on hills and there are a lot, I'm not on a hill, have never been flooded or had any water issues so this has shocked me, the accessor said my house was just in the firing line, the next street was washed away.
And now there's another cyclone heading our way but not for a few days.
Wellington is a scary place to fly in and out of !!!
Our world is in a precarious state, thank you for taking the time to comment, where are you from ?
