Lester, you remind me of my 10th grade American History teacher. I never cared much for history until I was in his class. He taught us a subject he obviously loved, because he lit up the room by telling stories in a way that made it exciting, and we didn't have to focus so much on when something happened as long as we knew other key details. And he allowed us to goof off sometimes too.
I had a grade 13 English Literature teacher who made books become alive. Before I retired I had a 90 minute commute to work Mon-Fri and 90 minutes back home. My long bus route went through 2 school districts and here in Phoenix they use public transportation for the schools rather than school busses. Needless to say, as the school kids boarded the busses they would become the live entertainment. The hair brushes and nail polish would come out and they would chatter away happy as could be. Sometimes the end results were good and sometimes they just looked like hookers lol. But it did a lot for their self esteem either way. Self esteem is a great ego booster. Little Pearl is lucky to have such beautiful lashes and for you to notice that made me laugh.
I think you are thinkin’ of the eyelash curler .....very popular with all girls at some point in life, it curls them up and then mascara to keep um curled! I think her eyes are beautiful, like with a lot of black eyeliner making them defined and striking
