As Xintsonga speaking and as a South African i feel very proud to have this great singer like in our. It's a gift to have people like you. Keep pushing your gift because you are taking our culture and our country to high.
You know, if it wasn't for things like this, everyone in the West would still be completely convinced that Africa is just poverty, war, famine, disease. But do you think they want that to be their entire image for the world? Of course not. There's a lot of great things going on in South Africa and the rest if the continent and it's just as good to report on that as it os to report on the darker things. Imagine if all they said about your country was the horrible politics and obesity epidemic... no you don't want a completely negative image; there's more to your country than that. You wouldn't want your friends always talking about you and your problems... you want people to hear good things about you, too.
Heard the Penny Penny's "Shaka Bundu" on an hour mix by Soul Clap on Lars Behrenroth's Deepershades podcast...I was more suprise I read an article about how the dance floors in the USA jammed to the track....
I love this man and his music. My mother shed tears whenever I play his music. It's bring back memories. God bless you
One of our own. I grew up listening to him
