Master's Hammer - Live in Prague (1991)

- This is a recording of one of the live shows Master's Hammer did in 1991. The video features the tracks Zapálili jsme Onen svět and Věčný návrat. The audio for Zapálili jsme Onen svět was taken from the Ultra Metal compilation (which also featured Geniové, and it was that version of the track that was used for the Geniové filmclip). Because this video was aired on television, and the quality in the audio was lacking, I spliced in a better quality version of Zapálili jsme Onen svět from Ultra Metal into the video.
The second track, Věčný návrat, was most likely taken from this live show as this version does not appear in any of MH's demos, splits, comps, etc. Now, in terms of the syncing of this video, there was little I could fix in the editing. For the most part, the clips have simply been put in at random, with the video fitting with the song only occasionally. The syncing is a little better on Věčný návrat, as the track originated from that recorded show, but it still leaves a lot to be desired.
Either way, live footage of Master's Hammer is close to non-existent, so this is the best we have for now. As far as I know, František Štorm has in his possession some footage of live gigs, but he has deemed it unworthy of release; he spoke very briefly about it in an interview.
This is a rarity. Let us not lose it.
+João Souza We were very bloody close to losing it though. I haven't been able to locate this anywhere else on the internet other than TH-cam, and the person who previously uploaded this video closed their account. Good thing I downloaded it. I did do some audio editing, but it is largely the same video.
+Baphomet Maybe try to send it to the band somehow. This sort of thing would be great on a DVD one day.
alexmothernorthyork They quite possibly have the full concert on tape! I know that František hinted in an interview that he possesses live footage of Master's Hammer from 1991/92.

There is actually little to no difference. The first song (like I said in the description) was taken directly from the Ultra Metal compilation, so the original upload was only different in the way that the audio quality was poorer. The second track is identical to that of the original upload, because it was from this very live performance. I kept the 'editing' absolutely faithful to that original upload.

I’m American and have been head banging to this shit for 20 years. There are lots of good Czech metal bands like Cult of Fire, Death Karma, Meloncholy Pessimism, Lykathea Aflame and Krabathor just to name a few.
Here in Colombia MH is a well known band in the underground black metal scene. There's a big affinity here for extreme metal bands, as well as in other south American countries.
Master’s Hammer is well known in Asia as well.
