I have a question rather than comment. I understood that the IFC file is a master data while COBie is specific customised view of master data contained in IFC. Am I true?
+Петр Шильников The IFC model is a schema describing how to organize all possible types of facility information throughout the life of a building. COBie is a subset of that schema for a specific purpose. The specific files/formats used to exchange project-specific data are as allowed by the individual Model View Defintions.
