As I do agree with you here Tom, it is gonna take more than most think to beat this guy. Despite his stiff looking, ponderous and not entirely fundamentally robust game. As Joyce is gonna clip at least one major win before his time capsule career is all said and done.
I think Joyce has to be taken for what he is. A little bit sloppy technically and not quick but if he's durable and has the stamina they say he has, along with relentless shots and power, then he will still cause problems in the division. He might be able to wear some good fighters down with pressure and power and fighting at a pace they don't like.
