Went out on Barkley yesterday. Whole trees floating and a ton of debris. Fishing was tough.

I recently purchased a battery power line stripper, i highly recommend.
I use to have one of those but don't know where it went lol. But I remember it was pretty handy.

That would be awesome.
Let me drop you a hack for getting line off a reel. Drill a hole through the cap of 2 litre bottle and put a quarter inch all thread in it with a nut on each side tightened up against the cap. Put the other end in your drill so it pulls the line off. Then either use your bait clicker or a light drag to prevent a back lash. Works great and it's a lot faster.

Hey my husband says use a cordless drill to pull the line off the reel it goes alot faster
I've had that recommended that a couple times. Definitely going to figure that out. Thank you for the advice.
@@mickaburkhart14 he chucks up a small stick or something that fits in the drill and can be burnt so the line doesn't get strung out at the landfill. Just tighten up the spool knob so it doesn't over spool and back lach

My dad's property backed up to Rathbun Lake. They actually flooded part of the property when they made Rathbun Dam.

What i do is take one reel, take off all the line off of it, and throw it away. Take another reel with line on it and spool it on the reel without line in it so in turn you get two uses off that spool it just puts the old on the inside and the new on the ouside just a trick ive learned to save money and get the most out of my equipment. I do this when im re spooling all my rigs.
