Forget the negative comments! Personally, I understand that you are traveling and enjoying the trip with your friends as well as gathering footage and editing. The latter is not a small task. The frequency is also fine. In the future, maybe you could consider subtitles for your non-Swahili speaking subscribers. Love from Kenya.
This is such a lovely coverage of that part of EC. Had you known, you could have arranged a tour of the Volkswagen plant in that city, in Kariega. I hope to see windfarms in the next episode.
I think port Elizabeth summarises South Africa,a little bit of every thing old architecture, modern architecture, modern road network,Large shopping malls, well organized walkways parks for public enjoying, the city is clean ,modern harbour, and sea sports lovely place to visit with many, many hotels, kudos for posting.😅
@georgehosea139 True. Every place in South Africa tells the story of the people who have been there before. There's a lot of nuance, whether it's architecture, names, language, dress.. You scratch the surface and unwittingly land on some gruesome history. It's gold for historians and film makers.
@@lebo5281 You make a good point. I've done a casual check of the demographics of PE and I see whites make up 37% of the city inspite of the fact that Eastern cape is Xhosa dominated. I wonder how the rest of the province looks like outside of PE. I also see why the city has a lot of colonial era architecture, it was established in 1820! SA has a lot of contrasts and the divide between the rich and poor is really wide. PE looks like a city in suburban America or Australia.
@alexchui3511 It's a long story to explain. Eastern Cape is a very huge province, it had two independent Black States during Apartheid, Transkei and Ciskei, these are separate from Port Elizabeth which was South Africa then, and was a British colony before the Union existed. (Please Google all these of you are really interested.) The crux is, the population in the portion of the place that was South Africa, would have Black, White, Coloured, Indian and other populations separated in different suburbs, then the areas that were independent States would consist of people of a particular ethnic group and their related clans. So what Apartheid did was forcefully remove people from settlements which they had earmarked for their own occupation or industrial development and call that area a part of South Africa and not the surrounding independent state. I think you get the picture. I hope you also understand why it is insensitive to continue asking South Africans about existing "white suburbs" blah blah, because it opens wounds of forceful removal that happened from the 1950s into the 1960s, up to the establishment of independent states in the 1970s.
@@lebo5281 I understand all these but thanks for added information. It's only that most people don't undertstand the history of SA and when they see such cities they imagine it is the same for all SAns which is quite the opposite.

Port Elizabeth...very beautiful
South Africa roads are amazing so beautiful Cape Town city 😊
It's not Cape Town...It's Port Elizaberth...They are about 700 plus KM before they reach Cape Town
SA roads are great. And yes, we have not gotten to Cape Town yet.
Liv those mountains look like hills in Nevada only difference is South Africa is green but Nevada is desert. Beautiful scenery ❤
I have to say, we can't compare Nevada to this video at any point in time. It's just day and night !
Interesting! I hope to visit there someday. I love love love hilly landscapes. Thank you for watching
Love your TH-cam content. Your videos are amazing, you guys are amazing.
Thanks so much!
Xhosa qeberha
Am inspired by the photos and vedios and journalism.very proffesional
Keep it up Ladies. You are doing great!
Thank you so much Anne
Forget the negative comments! Personally, I understand that you are traveling and enjoying the trip with your friends as well as gathering footage and editing. The latter is not a small task. The frequency is also fine. In the future, maybe you could consider subtitles for your non-Swahili speaking subscribers.
Love from Kenya.
Thank you so much, Kingroma. It sure is not an easy task. Sure, will do.
This is such a lovely coverage of that part of EC. Had you known, you could have arranged a tour of the Volkswagen plant in that city, in Kariega.
I hope to see windfarms in the next episode.
Thank you, Lebo. We will be back to explore more of EC. We had limited time in this trip.
Good contents i have been following you from episode one and you have educated me more about Southern Africa countries good work and be safe.
Thank you for staying tuned. I am glad the adventure has been educational
From now on you’ll be blown away by the Garden Route and Cape Town itself
You are right. We were totally blown out of our minds. I am yet to find the right beautiful words to describe Cape Town. It is truly the mother city.
Africa is a beautiful continent.
Very beautiful
Kindly do not take long to upload the next episode
We will try our best to have it ready in good time. Thank you for following us through this journey.
Welcome
(Please Google all these of you are really interested.)
The crux is, the population in the portion of the place that was South Africa, would have Black, White, Coloured, Indian and other populations separated in different suburbs, then the areas that were independent States would consist of people of a particular ethnic group and their related clans.
It's only that most people don't undertstand the history of SA and when they see such cities they imagine it is the same for all SAns which is quite the opposite.
,,,not a flat hill they are known as Table mountains liv,,,,haukuchukua Geography rymo

Brilliant scenarios, the ancient building in Port Elizabeth are dope, kuna places zingine kuna kaa kama Miami beach in a way , av noted most locals Nyumba zao ni Bungalows hakuna villas nyingi , aii Gqeberha city looks congested kidogo, some places look like Italy kidogo na Uk especially the hio part ya ancient buildings then av noticed some places look very quite hakuna watu , Summerstrands- Gqeberha thats a very posh neighborhood, Boardwalk Mall Gqebe looks lite in the evening 🤔ni mimi am hii place watu si wengi,Gai hawa ni wasee wa kamnyweso Sana, nice cozy home love the place , thats a very posh neighborhood am loving it as well na kwani hii place hakuna watu inaonekana wasee wako indoors sana. and the garden is very clean, Gai aki hio beach yao si ni safi na hii place av noticed hakuna watu how comes they dont enjoy what they have wakona kila kitu si basi watupe tujibambe overall nice adventure salimia Adiyah,Jane and Peter much ❤💯
Hello, Websta. Thank you for watching. You are right. PE is a mix of architecture. A little bit of modern, gothic Germanic, and Victorian architecture. This mix adds to it beauty and uniqueness. I also noticed that most of their towns are not congested. Either they are less populous, or they have a culture of staying indoors with their families, especially during weekends. The team inakusalimia pia.

Gqeberha is one of the top 5 cities in SA: JHB, CT, DBN, PTA, DBN, PE/GQB. Although I love the smaller towns, they have some character.
Thank you so much for the insight. Would love to explore all these minor and major cities in SA someday. Something that stood out for me is the architecture and the dreamy churches. Even the smallest of towns had great infrastructure and an iconic church that stood tall amongst other buildings.
