Another lovely episode. Asante sana. I once did an overland trip from Nairobi-Uganda- Rwanda. Great experience. You are doing noble work in sharing how possible travelling in Africa is.
Kuche kuche, kotakota...kwasa kwasa sounds like words Stevo simple boy could conjure...wow! What a journey you guys you are almost home. I keep seeing the kilometers to Nairobi and you are in our back yard. I have so been part of this journey i have become part of it.. it's been a constant inspiration and a call for action for me.❤
46:49 I love this song. Again, you've made my Tuesday a lovely day. I like the way you show us the food you're taking and where you're sleeping. Great video Liv and team.
Big up Liv! Its seems there's a little bit of Malawi in Jamaica. Here we have words like poco poco, or soso soso. And for people who have an eye for what you've got, we say they are wanti wanti. If the place is muddy, we say its poto poto... and I could go on and on; but you get the picture.lol. Its a beautiful country with very beautiful people.
Thanks again our team of courage.I guess Malawi is your happiest country.I felt your happiness especially along lake Malawi but was equally scared of where the Google map was taking you.
You guys are an inspiration to travelers...African travelers.....you have shown that Africans can dare out in their own backyard...that it is possible whichever means one decides on - own car, group arrangements, bus connections, etc
Thank you so much guys. I have never been to Malawi but through you, at least I have an idea of what the country offers in terms of tourism and adventure in general. Please keep it up guys. Chirwa from Zambia.
Thanks Liv and your team. Y😂ou have have dared where many have failed and looks like you are going far. Which is your next trip? Nairobi to Cairo. ?That will be amazing. All the best and safe trip.
Thank you so much, Isaac. The trip was quite memorable. Nairobi to Cairo is also achievable. We might dare to do that someday if we establish the roads up north are safe.
Looking at these Malawi roads, makes me appreciate Ugandan and Swaziland roads. They will improve in future. Best episode of the road trip. I don't like flashy places. Malawi ticks some boxes.
Thanks Liv Kenya 🇰🇪 you are always on time. Every episode is inspiring and educative, it's worth the wait. Keep soaring high like an Eagle. Soon you shall be the Channel Every one is craving for. Kudos 👏

Liv, that bridge is very strong and can possibly be dating from colonial times. There is on such bridge across river Yala in Siaya and its going strong more than 60 years since it was constructed. Steel span bridges can last 100s of years.

Since they always name everything twice, when you see a hippo in Lake Malawi its most likely going to be called Moto Moto. Now I've added Malawi to the list of countries where some people can speak Swahili...a surprise for me.
The double-naming is interesting. A few Malawians can speak Swahili because of the country's border with Tanzania. Some of the Malawian Swahili speakers actually mentioned that they had lived in Tanzania for a while.

I am looking at these roads, and my thoughts are, thank God our roads in Kenya 🇰🇪 don't look like this anymore. God has been faithful to our country even when some don't see it. I remember visiting my grandmother, and it used to take us forever just to get to her place. Today, it's a different story. One day they too will get there.
Thank you Liv Kenya for the videos. They are really educative and entertaining. However, of all the countries you have visited, Malawi appears to be the poorest. The depiction of poverty is just outright! Wah! May God help these people.
Next time you visit go to Salima, nkhatabay they have good beaches. Otherwise Nkhotakota i'ts not that good and has alot of crocodile.maybe will join you❤
