Malibu Rapids & Chatterbox Falls - Princess Louisa Inlet, BC

May 23, 2023 - Malibu Rapids, fed by Jevis Inlet and Queen's Reach is powerful, even at slack. At the head of Princess Louisa Inlet we were welcomed by fellow boaters at the coveted dock in front of Chatterbox Falls with a black bear across the head. Hiked up to Trapper's Cabin and waterfall. Took a tour of Malibu Club Young Life Camp (thanks Mike). Hiked on Macdonald Island. We watched entranced as seals hunted herring around the dock at night in bioluminescence. Savored this beautiful place. This location has it all. Exited at high slack.
