I bought hyryder. Automatic g variant. Fantastic car.. First month 1600kms done. Amazing car driving experience. And I agree boot kum hai but manageable hai.. A family of four can manage easily... I went automatic because I now feel my days of manual are just over and even though manual gives good mileage.. Now I am at an age where comfort and convenience matter more than mileage. TC was an obvious choice
@gurlalsingh-88 automatic mileage in city if you use the accelerator very judiciously then it can give great mileage. Around 16-17.. sometimes it can give more than 18 also. Highways it gives around 21at 80kmph. At 100 it gives around 18.5. These figures are all on mid I haven't check the tank to tank... The moment I cross 110 it drops to 16-17.
Agree with you fully Sir. And very well presented. Honda has offered ELEVATE as half-baked product as they are too late to offer a SUV in Indian market.
Great detailed video! Grand Vitara is a good car for a sedate driver wanting to drive his family around. But, having test driven all the cars in this segment and after rigorous planning, finally decided to go with the Elevate. The Elevate felt way punchier than the Vitara, has better braking and steering feedback. Space and comfort is almost same. The interiors also feel better. I don’t know why but the NVH of the Elevate does not bother me, infact I have started liking the engine note. I feel if driving feel is a priority then Elevate is an amazing option.
Own a GV sigma driven more than 30k kms, find it really good and comfy. Have installed after market accessories like allow wheels, info system, dechromed silver parts and installed led lights. Special mention for th suspension. Very underated. No variant can provide more wfm than sigma.
Grand Vitara's Sigma variant is the most value for money variant but for someone who wants to keep it for more than 10 years, this variant lacks few things: • This variant doesn't offer infotainment system, which means it will miss out on factory-fit mic for calling (aftermarket/dealer-fit mic isn't as good as factory fitment). • Rear Wiper • LED Headlights (Imagine the halogen headlights after 10 years) • Lack of 6 airbag, it offers only 2 (The facelift of all Suzuki cars will offer 6 airbags as standard, which will be updated in upcoming 2-3 years or so. So imagine 2 airbags after 10 years). If you were to increase the budget to get these features, you'll have to jump to Zeta variant which is a bit expensive in my opinion. If buying an expensive car makes sense for you because you are considering for more than 10 years, then you can buy zeta variant.

Clean pull from 0-80 fully loaded and AC ON is what is required most of the time for commuting and Suzuki is providing that. but they should also think of providing their 1.4 turbo engine here either in GV or S Cross. They have missed the performance bus. Common theme in Suzuki car reviews is " it is adequately powered" which imples, it is not.
Maybe they dont want turbo lag to ruin the smoothness, with speed limits all around and the laid back handling of this car, a 1.4T would be too much for this to handle

Yes you are right Suck-in type Ventilated seats are better than Blow-out type Ventilated seats but not for Indian conditions. They are better for non-dusty environmental countries like US & Australia. In India Suck-in type seats gets clogged easily and efficiency is reduced.

Yes. Hybrids are more powerful. Hands down. I booked grand vitara alpha automatic pure petrol. Toook multiple test drives. But had some issues with suzuki dealer. Then I went to toyota hyryder and asked test drive strong hrbrid g model. U ll clearly feel 15% more push in hybrid. Now I am proud owner of hyryder.

EV practical nai hai jbtk aap srf ghar pe nai charge krte! But in some cases like Windsor where you get a Creta segment car in 15lkhs, wahan thoda commercial charger se charge kar sakte.
kushaq base is far better as it has 6 airbags, 5 star safety, best and class handling in its segment and above , music system included , far better build quality. All in same price.

I would like to buy grand vitara/ Hyryder and think buying base variant and adding infotainment, rear camera, alloy wheels from showroom will make it a good car. But only thing I worry about is 2 airbags it offers. Should it be a deal breaker. Are the side airbags so important to not buy a car which one likes on all other fronts. My usage is 90% in the city of Hyderabad with mostly moderate traffic. Please advice.

If you have the budget for hybrid then yes! Petrol Resale isnt going anywhere compared to EVs which will always have a deteriorating battery life

I would like to buy grand vitara/ Hyryder and think buying base variant and adding infotainment, rear camera, alloy wheels from showroom will make it a good car. But only thing I worry about is 2 airbags it offers. Should it be a deal breaker. Are the side airbags so important to not buy a car which one likes on all other fronts.
My usage is 90% in the city of Hyderabad with mostly moderate traffic. Please advice.
