Wow. I need to use my makeup. I only go through my vitamin C face cream, foundation and concealer as well as eye shadow primer and face primer, yearly. I do buy a lot but I am still using eyeshadow /blush and lip pies from 3 years ago. I purged all,of my makeup 3 years ago and started over. I now have 50-60 eye pallets and ?15 blushes/50’ish lip items. 20 liners in eyes and lips. I can’t imagine using more than one of anything in a year. 😊
I mean that's still a pretty decent amount a year to use up! I understand because when you have a collection you want to show them all love so it does get hard to use something up 💗💗
I have gotten longer than 6 months from my PMG concealer. I’ll use ir as long as it smells ok. I knew what you means about the paint thinner smell though. I just threw out my PMG foundation as it had that smell. I won’t repurchase it as it was never a favorite texture wise, but it was my best color match until recently. FLower Beauty’s dewy foundation in Shell is identical to my skin and looks beautiful. A definite win for the drugstore since I generally only use luxury makeup. I took a chance and ordered some Flower Beauty products and really impressed with the foundation. The other products are fine but won’t replace my luxury faves. I am on a low buy this year and want to use up my Chanel water tint and some of my skincare. I don’t have any other makeup I’m trying to use up. I do plan to create my own palettes using singles to help feed the shopping for palettes beast and keep it tamed.
Oh I liked that Flower foundation too, except it broke me out :( Which sucks cos it was super nice. Also creating your own palettes is soooo much fun. I definitely want to do this a lot more this year too! 💗💗

I dnt think I used up anything but my Pat McGrath undereye setting powder which I repurchased in a couple shades cuz I heard it may be discontinued. I have so much makeup I find it hard to use up anything but my goal for this year is to use up one or 2 products in each category for the year, I just had to decide which those are and set them aside for use at least 3 -4 times a week!
Thanks! I definitely made it a focus to use up products, especially my older products this year so I'm happy I succeeded. I recommend starting with older products so they don't go to waste 💗💗💗
I used up the Pat McGrath under eye powder and concealer, CT setting spray, and the Kosas powder this year as well. I since have replaced them with the Huda concealer as well, and the Laura Mercier ultra blur powder.
OMG that tower 28 spray totally broke me out too!! I didn't want to believe it after seeing so many good reviews of it helping acne and more but my skin kept getting worse and stopped when i stopped using it. So weird
Sadly I purchased product over and over BUT I did use up the Jaclyn Lip Oil and adored it and the Fenty Cherry Lip Oil. Would repurchase both but I have SO MUCH I must use up more. Sadly I think my new goal is to have one eyeshadow pallet for each day of the year, yes I know that’s too much but I can’t stop I love them all.
I had the exact same experience with yhe NARS Extreme effects mascara. Such a disappointment. In addition to the flaking... the stopper came out. Love the Lancome Idole mascara! Especially for my bottom lashes!
Happy New Year! You’ve hyped the Rare Beauty eye primer so well that I have one on it’s way and I’m so excited to try it. An intensifeyes has also made its way into my collection. Mascara is such a funny category in that it’s so personalized. Much like people have different hair types, it follows through for lashes. I love the Ilia mascara. I prefer the one with the comb to the volumizing one, but combining the two gives my lashes such a great look. Looking forward to a year of new videos. Cheers! 🎉
@@MartinaLily I’ve had beach wave sprays with salt in them break me out and I watched a video once where Tati was saying that this spray is basically salt water. That’s what I’m guessing!

Lancome makes great mascaras. That and juicy lip tubes are the only products from the brand I would repurchase. I love the VB mascara too. It’s the only one I buy now although DHC makes a nice tubing mascara as well and it costs less. Mascara smears all over on me unless it’s waterproof which I hate or a tubing mascara which I love. So CT, PMG and Nars are all fails in me.
Hoooowww can you use up that much ? Please share your secrets because I am struggling to pan base products , the only thing I finish is gloss and mascara
Hahaha I guess I do ALOT of makeup looks so it would make sense. I struggle to use up powder products but creams and liquids I seem to be good at going through. Also I try and focus on products that are halfway done until they are done and then leave ones that are newer or fuller until after they are done 💗💗
Sure thing. It kind of like coats your lashes like a tube and then when warm water hits your lashes, say like in the shower, the 'tubes' just come off your lashes. I find them to be less harsh for my sensitive eyes 💗💗
