As a proff. toolmaker I can tell you, that you can´t measure more accurate than 1/10 of a millimeter with a digital calliper, or an anolog for that matter, regardless of how many digits there are behind the comma. If you want to measure 1/100s of a millimeter you have to use a micrometer. Because all precise measurements must be done with a pressure of exactly 1kg, whitch is buildt into the micrometer. So the line you measured could as well have been 0.35mm... But the fish don´t care 🙃
I completely agree with what you've said. I use a caliper as it's the most readily available measuring tool (aside from rulers and tape measures) for most people. So anyone with a caliper can try to measure the lines like I do in the videos. I would also rather spend the money on purchasing fishing gears rather than a micrometer. 😁
Enjoying the reviews. Been trying out different braids at different breaking strengths to figure which I like best. Any chance you could do a review of Fins 40g? Preferably one of these: 45lb, 65lb, or 85lb

Anyway, I can't seem to find a UK-based supplier of Fins 40g braid. Plus the fact I have a few lines I have already tested and just needing to edit the videos, it may take up to September or later before I can do a review for the line you have requested. Thanks, interesting video. I find a micrometer gives very much better accuracy measuring small line thickness than a digital calliper.

@@x3mgrifter I understand. Just to say, they are really cheap for a second hand one on ebay these days, maybe £10 for an imperial one
