Morgan Freeman said it best in a 60 min interview with Mike Wallace and the question was. How do we get rid of racism? Morgan immediately responds with "Stop talking about it. Instead of you referring to me as a black man. I know you as Mike Wallace and you know me as Morgan Freeman. But people wanna say. I know this WHITE guy named Mike Wallace." Vice versa. I refuse to get an impression of a person based on how much Melanin is in their makeup.

Right! Last time I checked, we are all apart of the HUMAN RACE. If we looked at our similarities versus our differences, we could get back on track as a civilization.
The ones slinging the word racist as if it doesn't have weight, are just really unconscious, not intelligent, and conceited.
People who have lost touch with physical reality is probably the biggest problem, next to victim mentality.

About 10 years ago I found myself in a jam and needed a second job so I applied to our local McDonald’s which all employees there were black. But I filled out an app and was called for an interview. When I walked in the door you could see the disgust on the managers face. It was very uncomfortable. I sat down and she asked me 3 questions and said if they were going to hire me she would give me a call. As I was walking out right before I got to the door I heard her say “that white bitch think she gonna work here” and laughed. I turned around and and watched her toss my app in the trash and went into her little office there on the side. So yeah I know from experience that white folks can face racism. If my skin had been of the dark pigment I would’ve had a million dollar lawsuit. But being as I’m not their corporate office just said they’d look into it. She was still the manager there years later.

It's to the point where I don't even care. Those words have no power over me and I just roll my eyes. But I will say this: for every negative encounter I have with someone in the black community I have WAAAAAAY more positive encounters because I don't think about race when I interact with people and just treat everybody with respect. Most people just want to be respected and left alone and not reminded of this bullshit. Both of my neighbors are black and we all look after eachother's properties to make sure nobody is fckin around our neighborhood. Having been born in the 50’s I’ve seen a lot. But when I see this generation and the way they think, I would love to bring them back to my high school in the mid 70’s and see if they could survive one day.

I do not bat an eye about someone’s ethnic heritage.
I was born in the 50s and lived through the turmoil of desegregation and up till about a decade ago I could see how far we had come. Now, people seem to be encouraging segregation. My parents were big supporters of desegregation and would be appalled at what is happening now. We are regressing in our humanity and are pushing our much earned equality off a cliff in favor of segregation and equity. No one in America has experienced the horror of racism, are a slave now or have owned a slave. I do not owe anyone anything. Work hard, earn the respect of others and move forward in life based upon that and the merit of your actions. My grandparents were poor sharecroppers and all of their grandchildren have achieved success in life both professionally and personally. We worked hard and overcame the challenges of what our grandparents went through. Only in America!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The reason he couldn't find his definition of racism immediately with Google is that it's not the dictionary definition of racism. It is the post-modern, pseudo-Marxist definition of racism taught in universities. It is so ingrained in college students that they don't even know it's not the real definition of racism. It's an ideologically motivated definition that, ironically, "oppresses" white people by its very definition. In other words, his definition of racism is racist.
But that does not matter to him because the ideology he has accepted does not believe that "oppression" is wrong. It sets itself up to oppress the "oppressors". It pretends that an imbalance in power is the problem when in reality, it really wants to tip the balance so that it gains power over others. And some who believe in that ideology will actually admit as much.
If you want to see the end result of that belief system, which is 100% based on Marxism, look at the end result of Marxism everywhere it has been put into practice. You will find oceans of blood followed by authoritarian regimes far more oppressive than any "power imbalance" that inspired their creation.

I don't understand victim mentality and I am a actual victim. I have had several experiences in my life that qualify myself as one. The main one being that I was kidnapped and molested as a kid. I put in a lot of work via therapy to get all of the mental and emotional trauma out of my subconscious to even think about adopting a victim mentality. Because the simple truth is you don't know how much you are carrying around and how badly it is effecting you tell you get rid of it. So when I encounter people with a victim mentality, I simply avoid them. Because I'm not willing to chance that mentality becoming my own.

I'm happy that you got yourself into a healthier place, as well as being able to speak up on such matters.
I keep having to say this to people, but just because someone WAS a victim, does not mean that they LIVE in a victim mentality.
So many 'victims' are strong as fuck, and go through a lot of therapy and self reflection and retraining their minds to be healthy.
The way society keeps forcing victimhood on everyone is so horrendous. They're trying to create a weak population, and ironically, people who were ACTUAL victims are usually stronger than all these people claiming it as a title for pity and privileges. 🤦‍♀️

None of that is true. Regardless of what the problem is it is being used against us all to weaken, confuse and tire us all out and cause us all to fight with each other. Even this comment I have made, people will be programmed to call me a conspiracy theorist and tel me that I am mad. I am not mad. Not everyone thinks like that, it may be on the rise now a days (because of the people who make everything about race) but still its not all people. People want an excuse for the negative things that happen to them rather then ever considering it could be because of something they had control over, like attitude, or effort, or personality, but no its automatically "its because I am ____". Not every person thinks like you think, stop projecting your subconscious feelings unto others.

“I can’t find the definition right now “ no,you couldn’t find the definition that fits your narrative, you can be prejudice against anything,it doesn’t have to be a person,I can be prejudice against a certain food or a certain company,I feel bad for these kids,if you are brought up to think a certain way or taught a certain way then you really don’t know any better, when you pass judgment on someone because of their skin color “regardless of skin color “ that is the true definition of racism, anyone can experience racism, anyone can be racist,it’s really that simple,

Right you are Sir, Have these people explain how me as a white farm boy from New Jersey has some type of power over every black person I meet? What is this amazing super power that I have that gives me power. I tell ya what, I was walking down the street in Camden a while back and I can tell ya, I wasn't feeling very powerful the whole time. This idea that all white people have power just because they are white is bull crap and non-white people can be just as racist as so called white people. Also, who exactly falls in the "white" category, cause there's a lot different shades of white out there, so exactly how dark do you have to get to be considered non-white. Like if I get a really good tan, can I get special dispensation? How about if I move to an African country, where all the power is controlled by non-white people, can a white person experience racism?
Love you man, love listening to you and really enjoy hearing your perspectives on various topics. Keep up the great work.

Both you and Van are making the same mistake, though. They aren't "his people," unless you categorize people primarily by race. What is his connection to the person he's criticizing? Can you name anything other than race? Race does not connect people, except in the minds of people who care far too much about race.

" Prepare for the worst but expect the best "(Van). I thoroughly enjoyed this video and greatly appreciated your personality, vibe, and approach to these subjects. The people in this video trying to utilize diverse perspectives to justify their skewed perception to describe and define racism is sad. I'm a scholar in this field, and I strive to teach my students and professionals to view everyone as equals and understand that everybody, no matter their culture or skin tone, can be impacted by racism. I scratch my head off as many people say they're for diversity and equality but rarely utilize those concepts positively when interacting, communicating, or valuing other cultures and races from that perspective. Keep up the great work, and be blessed!
