    man I tell you I would love to purchase and start investing in world money but I do not know where to start. so many countries so many eras and so many diffrent faces. I have some random selections of such my uncle gave me when I was young but no huge collection. So as a relatively new collector of world paper money what would you recommend me getting into first. honeslty I'm just looking for a nice design and not really rarity as I save my money mainly for rare American notes as it's my first intrest and hobby. Thanks for reading my comment currency world and may God bless you and your friends and family

      Hi Ridge,
      Great to hear from you buddy. Currency can be relatively inexpensive. World currency is very cheap if you are looking at relatively modern notes. Many can be had in uncirculated condition for under $1! If you are into American notes, I would recommend confederate currency, obsolete currency, and fractional notes. Most can be had for under $100 and many under $50. Certain large variety US notes can be had for under $100 in decent condition. I hope that helps. Let me know what you decide on!

      Hi Tomeko,
      Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed the collection. I am not a big fan of the newer Romanian banknotes, but these older kingdom period notes are gorgeous in my opinion. A lot of the older designs were engraved in France and even in the United States. Thank you for watching. Please consider subscribing if you have not already. I try to present as much variety as possible.

    1000 lei 1950...

      @@currencyworld eu le am aproape pe toate și chiar în 2 sau 3 exemplare și din toate ultimele în gradul cel mai mare dar poate peste 30 de ani pentru copiii mei dar acum nu au nici o valoare... Dacă nu o sa dispară trendul asta ca și discurile sau timbrele

      Erty Derty Salut. Bancnotele vechi au valoare destul de mare cele din 1877 sa vand cu mii de dolari in grade necirculat. Cele mai noi nu prea au valoare foarte mare inafara de specimene și alte rarităț. Dar de sigur sunt excepți!

    Transylvania occupied by austro-hungaroans? It's time the learn history. They weren't revolutionists, they were killers, butchers of a lot of hungarian villages. Transylvania is part of Hungary, and 100 years ago occupied by Romania. And they took a lot of romanians to Transylvania from old Romania. Sometimes you should learn, and do not say stupid things...

    • @currencyworld
      @currencyworld  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Viribus,
      I did learn history and I hold multiple degrees in both ancient and modern history. I learned real history and not your Hungarian revisionist propaganda so allow me to enlighten you to the degree that is possible. Transylvania has and always will be a Romanian territory, dating back to the ancient Dacians which along with the Romans are the ancestors of the Romanian people, unlike the Hungarians who were a nomadic tribe of Barbarians that arrived from the Ural Mountains much later. In terms of modern history, the ethnic population of Transylvania has always been predominantly Romanian even under Hungarian rule (over 70% Romanian at that time) where Hungarians actively sought to persecute and undermine the Romanian majority. Perhaps you should pick up a history book before making a fool of yourself on a public forum.

      The history is written by tbe victorious... Being romanian is not a nationality, this is a job... (Stalin)

      @@currencyworld Where are the clues between the dacian times and the 13th century (buildings, graves) that any romanian lived in Transylvania? Quite interesting. Michail the Brave who ruled Transylvania for one year? Romanian history is a fairytale with jokes, most of tham made by the Genius of the Carpathians...

    • @currencyworld
      @currencyworld  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, history is written by the victorious. Hungarians were one of the major losers of WWI. Hungary was also the first county in Europe, aside from Soviet Russia to establish a communist Soviet state after WWI under Béla Kun. Romania under the leadership of King Ferdinand came in and occupied Budapest, overthrowing the soviet government. Hungarians along with the Russians are responsible for bringing the plague of communism upon all of Eastern Europe. Romanians had no tradition of communism prior to the Soviet occupation and forced adoption after WWII. The history you have been reading sounds like Hungarian communist propaganda.
