It's horribly old fashioned. Based on files that you zip into a package, is very very bad. Google Wallets approach is much better and versatile: you call an API with json data, get back a token and use that token as a reference. This makes updates much much easier, just call google's api. For Apple you'll need to generate a new zipfile. It's so bad
