The fake is of the old design cap and they used to do 120ml but not anymore.
Exactly, there is no 120ml available on Creed's website and the bottle is just sloppy.
@@MonikaColognes Batch code of the fake is 15X01, and at that point in time, 120ml bottles were available. But cellophane-wrapped boxes were not. ;)

Creed doesn't make 120ml bottles anymore. They use to. Also very thorough comparison well done. And that ending lmaooooooooooo EPIC!

It's not so surprising if you consider the batch code. 15X01 is a vintage pineapple-centric batch. Compared to what the real stuff is selling for, the fake is made to look like a bargain.
This is why I just buy Club De Nuit LOL..If I had this happen to me, I'd be heated
just by from a legit store and you will get the real deal. Aventus is much better then Club de nuit

Great video. I just purchased a 50ml bottle in the UK from John Lewis online. They are supposed to be a reputable store. At least I know what to look for if it's a fake.

I’d feel dirty just wearing that fake. When I started collecting fragrances I got a fake bottle of Eros, it smelt like urine in the bottle. Have developed a deep hatred for fakes ever since.

The biggest giveaway of a fake: the feather plume on the box is not hot stamped with silver and the atomizer doesn't have the black sleeve around it.

You forgot to do the last test with the original. I would appreciate it so I can detect which one is the fake from watching the difference.
Never had this fragrance but as I watch the video there were a lot of similarities but a few differences
The ASMR is strong with this one. But goodness are these counterfeiters bad at their jobs. The box doesn't even look right. All you'd have to do is take a photo of the box and duplicate that plus the shape of the bottle is a Google search away. I love how you flicked the box away with such disdain.

Hi, I ordered creed online from a shop based in UK. Then I have noticed that the link named ,copy of aventuse. Is it possible that it is fake????😢
The easiest way to tell if it is fake is to remove the sprayer cap and look at the washer under neath. 99% of the time, the fakes use a metal washer under the sprayer. The real ones use a white plastic washer.
I have an aventus where when nozzle removed its white inside. Is it fake or not?
Yes it should be white inside once the little spray cap is removed

What About the scent, how did the fake one smell?
The scent wasn’t even similar it was like a poundland/dollartree version of an Armani code.

Creed does and still do make 4oz (120ml) bottles.
So having a 120ml does not suggest it's a fake... you want know for sure if it's fake or real.
Remove the spray nozzle off your bottle and look at the outer ring.
If It's any other color besides a white plastic looking piece. You have a fake bottle!!!!
I don't care what color the bottle is check the outer ring that's a dead giveaway.
I feel so sorry for all of the people scammed over fake aventus, and don't understand how amazing the scent is.

It’s always been my understanding that authentic Creed will NEVER be wrapped or sealed in cellophane or plastic wrap.
Yep...no checking of white ring under atomizer head either...
In the past it wasn't. But starting with 2019 batches, boxes are cellophane-wrapped.

Are you sure they aren't both fake?? Real Creeds are supposed to NEVER be wrapped in cellophane...ever. Also, I would have pulled the atomizer head off and checked for the white ring on both of them which is supposed to indicate it's real...but what do I know
False, late 2019 and < Aventus is wrapped.
@@Mr.Plutonium I did buy Viking Cologne straight from the New York Creed Boutique and it WASN'T wrapped. Maybe it's only for certain markets where they use the wrap and I am hearing more and more they are starting to do this more...

Why none of the reviewers compare the actual smell? When it comes to Aventus, this scent is extremally hard to fake and no other brand has done a good clone, so it's obvious it would be a crap, but smell it and tell it...
I wont be buying either. It's way too expensive.

Aventus doesn't have any smoke after like 2012.
I’m no expert, but I’m not entirely sure that was fake. Creed had 120 ml and 75ml bottles to start off, then switched to 50ml and 100ml. That could have been an old bottle, but it also might have been a fake.🤷♂️
You should have found a real 120ml to compare to the fake 120ml.
But does it SMELL the same? I could accept it if my pride if my nose didn't know the difference :P

I paid $20 for a fake. In the hot weather, it’s not bad for the price. But, I also have 200 ml of an original batch, decanted from a 1 liter container, which is brown, and nearly pure oil.

@@bbosafredrick3579 Oh yeah. That opening, acidic pineapple note stays with me. It blends so well with the patchouli. 2 sprays at noon, and 24 hours later the scent is still there. Even after a shower, workout, another shower and a change of clothes. I don’t wear it very often. It’s my black tie, dating frag. I don’t want to tire of it either.

I think both bottles should have hit the wall. The House of Creed is now owned by a big hedge fund and even you would agree that the quality of the recent batches has fallen off considerably. Forget about this bad Chinese fake. Aventus has not evolved and has become a template. Chromatography machines now make it possible to replicate Creed fragrances and there are a handful of the hated "clones" that are so good, that if that juice was in an Aventus bottle, they would be hailed as inspired.
