It’s amazing how many places you already been to China and get to tried all the good foods, better yet, you let so many people around the world got to see the beauty of China, and thank you so much for doing that !
I live in the US and just seeing the variety of food you try makes me want to travel more 💗 And reading the comments is so uplifting!! I especially love that my 5 year old loves your videos and keeps asking if we can visit China 💕
OMG please come and visit ! Our culinary culture does not disappoint! And no matter where you visit, there’s always something for you (yes even the vegans )!
As a native Chinese from Hangzhou, thank you for making these videos presenting the true Chinese food culture! And I will definitely visit some of these places soon!
I most admire the man who bought so may packs to give to college friends. Know which company he is working in. I also want to be his colleague working there. So generous kind to his colleagues.
I love how Amy has taught me so much about culinary destinations in my homeland (I’ve lived in ‘straya for ten years)! I also like this mix of showing us both the view and food. Please keep up the good work! ❤
Blondie never ceases to amaze. I don't know how you keep finding new cuisines / foods. I just know I find myself salivating after watching your food vlogs.🤤😋🥣🍜👩🍳😍❤️
Your energy and enthusiasm while trying all this food is delightful! I totally want to go and try all the food you had in this video, especially that duck!
Last time I went to Chengdu in 19, I was planning to go to Leshan to see the big Buddha and eat local delicacies but I got sick along the way. Your vid makes me want to revisit Chengdu asap. Thanks for the vid.
Absolutely love your clips. Currently planning a trip to China. Though I follow Chinese food blogs and apps but the way you describe your food is incomparable.
Amy the night scene in Leshan is amazing, cant believe you skipped the BBQ. Its very different than the northen style you would get in cities like Beijing or DongBei becasue in Leshan, you will get some crazy meat choices like Duck Tongue, etc. And pretty much all meats are marinated. 🤤
Watching your food adventures on an empty stomach is dangerous 😭 I’ve just spent so much money on delivery food from this spicy dumpling place 😂 You should get your parents to come visit you and do food adventures with you in China one day! They’re both so wholesome and your dads reactions are priceless 😂
I always thought that the capital of Sichuan cuisine is Chengdu, but it is not until watching this video. Spicy mixed noodles, rice cakes and roasted duck, they all look delicate.
I've visited Leshan 2 years ago. And what I missed from this city is their bingfen from this store, I think they have the best bingfen I've ever had so far. Because I'm not a fan of bingfen, but when eat their bingfen, OMG super good. If one day I go back to Leshan again, it is only for this bingfen. Btw when you visit Chengdu, remember to try 烤匠烤鱼,my favorite kaoyu in Chengdu and you only can have it in here too.
Been following you of your food adventures for a while now and it’s making me so excited to go home! Can’t wait to eat all the delicious food when I’m back in China! 🤩
OMG I thought Cantonese or Peking duck wins but that "sweet skin duck" sounds exactly what I'd want! & the boboji (basically the Leshan style salad bar LOL) would be perfect for a hot summer day! Thank you for the recs, now we can do a day trip in Leshan instead of just going to see the Buddha! 🙏
I'm literally dying inside... Before this I've seen other videos of sichuan province's natural beauty, and now this... I feel like I must go there immediately, like my spirit and soul urges me. All those different kinds of food look so incredibly delicious!
I was this instant talking about you with someone who wanted a great Chinese food vlog/channel to watch! I'm probably behind because I've been ill for months but things are looking up now. Holy Doodle, everything looked incredibly yummy; I want to try it all! I hope I'm able to some day soon. 🥰
串妹 is literally located in my home area, me and my family live next across the alley, and their 冰粉凉糕, as well as the 跷脚牛肉 next to it are always our summer treat!! so glad to know you like the food in leshan, and truly appreciate your promotion to the world!! I've been following your journey since pre-covid, and it's always a delight to see your uploads!! please keep up the great job, cheers blondie!!
I love travel/food vlogs and am new to yours. Love it and wish I was more adventurous when I was staying with my niece right next to Chinatown Sydney. Keep up the great content and trying to watch all your back dated videos x
Love your video! Thank you for making me appreciate more and more what China offers us. As a Chinese, I did not even hear of Pianpiya, I'm literally exploring my own country with your camera!
When I go to Leshan, I will go for the brekkie, then go see the Buddha, then go for the duckie n bingfen, n then boboji for dinner. Good itenary! Thanks Amy😊❤
Just sitting here watching your latest episode with my 1 1/2 year old daughter Winter! We both enjoy watching your food adventures for when we finally get to visit our family in China!
So happy to see Blondie had a happy journey and great food she loves, really fresh the day 😃And damn, what a great regret that I never been to 乐山 but I lived in Chengdu for 4 years college 😂 Gotta find a chance to be there.
When I saw the title I had guessed it is definitely Leshan, where is my hometown. Welcome! And I am really happy to know that you a wonderful food journey there.
I am a little bit jealous on you for you can go here and there to enjoy different kinds of local good food and scenery. I enjoy your video very much indeed.
I love how you bit into the duck drumstick and started flapping your arms because you liked the flavour! 😂 Enjoy more!! I can only taste it vicariously through your video. 😭 Hmmm, I only likd the Duck and the Bing Fen.
While in Leshan or anywhere in Sichuan, you must try the special type of duck called Camphor-smoked duck. The taste is unique, unlike anything other types of roast duck but apparently, as it takes a long time to make, you might have to enquire about it to see which place/restaurant still offers this. Then comment on it as you have tried so many types of ducks. Good luck in finding a place with this speciality.
Blondie Ii normally don't like to watch people eating local delicacies but this time I'll make an exception as you do it so well with gusto and enthusiasm. Keep up but don't forget the local sights too would also like your interactions with the locals 👍👍👍
The guy at the last part of this video, he is from Tianjin, from his accent 😂 ( Tianjin is my hometown, and I went to Uni in Chengdu, now I have been in Australia for over 10 years). Watching this video from Amy just linked all my memories together ❤
People were lining up for bags of duck like they just got done with going on a shopping spree. It makes more sense if the guy was fulfilling some kind of Uber Eats order, but multiple bags to gift to his colleagues? Dude was carrying enough duck to feed an entire rural village.
I love your videos! I’ve never really been interested in Chinese culture or cuisine, but after your videos I’m already thinking about and looking at ticket prices lol
“Ok love you!” That moment was so cute 😭😂

I don’t know why turkey is so popular here in North America. Duck is king of the bird imo. The crispy skin and succulent meat is on par and unbeatable
Yep, Turky meat is so dry that I am not a fan of it.
I'm gonna guess becuase turkey used to be very cheap and abundant, also in the wild.
I want to go to Leshan and EAT! Your day looked great, and who doesn’t like the best roast duck ever! Put it on our list babe❤
