- We went to Trader Joe’s and grabbed every new summer 2022 items they had that said vegan or appeared vegan friendly! We found over a dozen of them and we are putting them all to the test! Our taste bud test!

We do not have a Trader Joe's; but I watch these in case my Aldi's ends up with one of the products, which it sometimes does. I also just enjoy watching the both of you; makes me happy. Have a great day.
@PS they exist on the east of the state, but are just now opening in the west. My city is supposed to have one open in the next year.
Trader Joe, the patron saint of vegans. I'm obsessed with the oat creamer, banana fritters, peanut butter popcorn, and oat milk chocolate. I liked the bulgogi "beef" too.

I've had the bulgogi and it is AMAZING.
Use the brioche with the Violife grilling cheese and tomato for the best grilled cheese. Put veganaise on the outside of the bread then put it in the hot butter and it gets crispy and soft, just yummy. I went to Trader Joe’s yesterday and saw sunflower butter cookies that say vegan on the box. They are small and soft and absolutely delicious, I recommend them.

Boba is super popular where I live! If you like coffee and you like boba, you’d like that ice cream. I personally love it. The ice cream was sold out forever because it’s so popular around here. Boba is made out of tapioca starch so yes it’s gummy and chewy.
That nacho dip is very different warmed up. That said, when it’s cold, it gave me those cheese and cracker packs with the red plastic spreader vibes. I was not mad about that hahaha

I agree about the ravioli. Have you tried the spinach one from ALDI? That one is more garlicky! Actually, ALDI has a plethora of vegan items right now so maybe do them next! 😊

Aldi's has vegan ravioli and it is really good and also not as expensive

Your brioche recipe is the bomb! I made it the other day and it’s fabulous! Used sweet potato instead of Yukon gold.

I think the cake you might be remembering could be Sour Cream Coffee Cake. It's made in a bundt pan and bakes with a crunchy cinnamon, sugar and nut topping. That one was one of the first cakes with sour cream that I recall eating. So, so good.

Yes, boba is supposed to be chewy. I don't think it would be good in icecream. The thing I like about boba tea is the contrast. It's a texture thing.

I live in Europe and there's no TJ's here but I just loove these videos so much! Your reactions, sense of humor and the energy are just awesome :D Also, isn't it awesome how many new plant-based product are coming out these days? It is great veganism is becoming easier and more accessible!

Aldi makes vegan raviolis and they are great. $3.79. Serve them over sautéed spinach with garlic

The brioche and beetles bulgogi are THE BEST! Got some of the Tteokbokki today to try, since that's some of my favorite Korean street food!
The salad is my go-to beach salad. Very delish.

I was warning you outloud about the Boba as you were putting it in your mouth. Andrew 's reaction says it all. ;) I like their vegan icecream bases - wish they would make them without Boba and other weird crap in them!

The creamer is fantastic in chai tea , that company also has a amazing cookie butter flavored creamer it tastes like those little vegan cookies the name of it I think it's lotus brand, ohh yeah it's biscoff

Haha! Yes! The tapioca beads definitely are chewy. Boba definitely is good if you have it with Almond Milk!
Cold brew is usually very high in caffeine, and that ice-cream is as well.

I put the Vegan Buffalo dip on my salad like a salad dressing, add avocado & tortilla chips to give it some crunch. It’s pretty good.
My three faves are the brioche, the beef bulgogi , and the salsa verde chips. As long as TJ’s keeps selling them, I will keep buying them ❤️
I use the brioche to make French toast. it’s really good for that.
I practically inhaled the bag of vegan pnut butter cap’n crunch on the way home. Yummy!

Love the Korean "beef". I like the ravioli. I haven't tried the rest but I will. I would love the coffee ice cream but withour the boba. I'm bummed that they stopped making the vanilla soy "ice cream". You guys are cute together!

TJs sells the “Simply eggless” that is disgusting so I had to make French toast with it lol but it turned out great 😂

Great video! Have you seen the Nasoya Plantspired products? I recently bought the Korean barbecue flavor "steak" pieces and they have a great texture. Unfortunately, I have a thing about fake smoke flavor so I didn't like the taste, but I hope they use the same texture for other flavors.

I think the nacho cheese is supposed to be heated. Not sure if you did try again warm. I watched Sweet Simple Vegan taste test of some of the same products. They first tasted it unheated then heated it up.
May make the 40 minute trip now to go try a few of these items. Thanks for the fun video. Appreciate the family friendly videos. My kids love to watch y’all.
I'm not a Boba tea fan. I used to like tapioca pudding, though. I don't think I'd like the tapioca Boba in ice cream, though. Thanks for another great TJ's review!!

The Buffalo is one of my favorite dips and you need to heat up the nacho dip.

You should try the Blue Moose of Boulder Organic queso blanco. It is the best vegan queso I have ever tried and they have it at my Costco in Southern CA. So far the only decent vegan sour cream I've had is Follow your Heart.
I've gotta come across the border and check out a Trader Joe's one of these days. The closest one is 50 minutes from me, hmmmm. Gotta get this store in Canada

I agree with the nacho dip! It’s pretty okay but not amazing. If you’re just already at TJ’s and you’re too lazy to make homemade then go for it XD I love the sparkling water and the dried sesame seed and chili are a no for me.
Super curious about the Key Lime and PB Caramel popcorns 👀 I’ve liked using those oat chocolate bars for making hot chocolate and vegan mole!
Edit after Pt2: Tteokbokki is super easy to make at home so I personally suggest homemade instead! Fresh falafel is always better imo. Curious about the bulgogi!

Have y'all tried the new Amazon fresh vegan products? They have a burger and sausage that are soooooo good. I was ordering groceries yesterday and saw a few things. The sausages was even bogo!

It’s supposed to be chewy and the tapioca pearls are typically slightly sweet. IMO the frozen boba isn’t as good as fresh

I'm not buying that creamer again because I actually drank the pint instead of using it in my coffee. I didn't like the watermelon flavor of the sparkling water, tasted like artificial candy. May have to try the pineapple if it's still available. TJs can miss the mark on stuff. Their vegetable soup in the jar was inedible for me. Sour.
I love Kite's sour cream and yogurt. I am not a fan of vegan cheese. the taste is awful. Until I find a good vegan cheese then provolone is the stand-in. I am a vegan. Do you have a cookbook?
The boba in boba tea is a lot less chewy. It must be because they are frozen.
I don't understand why they are changing their vegan ice cream options to weirder/more complex flavors. Their organic soy creamy ice cream was so good, and they have discontinued it now and i'm heartbroken 💔 I don't like their new options at all.
