since i have been playing pc, i have found some creative ways to play him and its really amazing how well adapted smoke is for a support and top frag role. its rare i play frag positions so being able to single-handedly deny flank while offering default support is why i realize i was wrong having rarely played him before. And its because of you and pox that I got some confidence to just "make it work"
also at 6:09....if you pause for monologue for more than 20s. can you put a pause button on the screen. I thought my youtube was quitting on me. =(

Consider this: Thorn shotgun cz.
She has deployable shield too and her shotgun is as good if not better than the mossberg. Only downside is ironsights on the secondary but with thorn you could go roam freely or play less safely because you put your gadget prematurely. Also the shotgun is useful to shoot holes between the iron bars of the floor to put your gadget there. Imo she could compete with smoke if people see past her automatic primary

Auto primary is too good while CZ is worse than smg-11 cause of bs iron sight. Thorn gadget only can deny for a few secs and can't be thrown right away making it not that good if you play active, cause you need to prep it. But Thorn is pretty good tho, one of the best ops for german shotgun and she's fun af.

I don’t run his shotgun at all (user error) but his smg with the 1.5x is so nice. Zero lateral recoil, so it’s easy to control. The cherry on top is setting up a blind side on the enemy, getting a pick, and then detonating smoke to move position.
