I was at a know your rights advanced course this weekend. Even in there people were upset on the 2nd day when a couple of us changed seats from day one. That has to be school training in effect to pick your seat at the start of the year and that's it

I’ve seen people in the workplace elevated to the point of violence because someone was in ‘ their ‘ seat in the cafeteria. Sad.

Critical woodstove blower advice. Stay off your knees....(trying to keep warm). Seriously. If you are buying an insert type woodstove that is flush to the old fireplace wall, consider this. Once the blower stops working, very little heat comes off the front. There are inserts that sit out from the wall. They have at least a third or more of the metal firebox exposed in the room. I have one like this, and it was just adequate over a week long power outage in a winter ice storm. I did a breakdown of cost. House heated with electricity. Burning only around weekends and holidays (4 days/week-Nov to Apr). Total electric bill reduced over a whole year by one third. Winter electric bills reduced by $200-300/month. Stove plus installation paid for itself in 3 years. Wood is free, and when I chop it, it warms me twice.🙄
Handypeople could look into Rocket Mass Heaters. One quarter the wood (less fires) for more even heat.
I've been watching do and be different family and their stove chimney has a flue to open the chimney straight through and close it down while opening a flue which sends the heat through a wall channel so it heats the wall of 🧱 before exiting the chimney.

@@tinnaz1 Is that a Masonary Heater? The Rocket Mass burns up all the smoke and absorbs most of the heat. Chimney exhaust is cool. There is a pressure change inside the core that drives the burnt gas out.

When I was a juvenile I knew I would homeschool my children one day and became an adult and did just that. My children are brilliant and have always been ahead of their ages grade level.
