That's a lovely model with bags of character. I would humbly suggest changing the head light for a 'golden white' LED. They have a more period incandescent look.
Agreed RE the LED, but they're not quite as white in the flesh. The final batch of 4 of these is on the bench as I write this, so leaving the question of what next in 7/8ths?!
Hi James, great looking model. Would you be able to share how you piggy backed DCC from the RC receiver? I’m scratch building an older Ruston 16HP loco (also in 7/8ths) that is RC controlled and would really like to add sound from a DCC sound chip which sounds closer to the prototype than other available RC sound options.
