Totes agree, I have a massive wishlist as I keep a tight handle on my collection size. I buy scents cos i want to wear it whilst I still can. It would reet pee me off if I have to give away or flog it off
Forever and Profumo are the only scents that I've backed up. Considering Prada Black. Forever was a must because I use it to blend. The grapefruit is splendid.
Wonder if there's a way to calculate cost of a signature cologne per day based on size of bottle and sprays needed. Layton = $0.89 per day vs Detour Noir = $0.07 per day. Would make for an interesting comparison esp since most things seem to be monthly subscriptions now. Est price per month based on normal usage would be cool too.
La Nuit de L’Homme Bleu Electrique is the only fragrance from which I own a backup bottle. People love that stuff. Definitely the sexiest fragrance in my collection 👌✌️
Jack of clubs is a clone that is actually stronger

I layered Swiss Arabian Shaghaf Oud and Detour Noir, it was very nice.
For me the first backup-bottle worthy fragrance I’ve come across is Afnan Supremacy not only intense! It’s so goood!
D&G one luminous night and Prada l'homme intense is only fragrance that i got backup bottles. Prada black is another one worth backup bottle.
Bought backup bottles of a few fragrances just so i could have 200mls of it (so it lasts me a long while). Light Blue Forever was one that was hard af for me to get. I got mine from Rafaelo’s online store for like $80 a bottle which wasn’t terrible. I could’ve gotten better deals on FragranceBuy or FragranceNet but they’re rarely ever in stock there. Only downside is idk how long the fragrance will last, as ik fragrances can expire. But seeing as i just opened it a month or so ago, id assume itd be good.
Yeah I finally got Dior Homme Parfum and it is a true piece of Art. Such an intoxicating scent.
I prefer Dior Homme Intense over it. These TH-cam salesmen just love to push DHP.

I have about I don't know about four of these fragrances in this list and the other ones are very intriguing but I have so many fragrances now that there's no way that I am going to be able to buy as many as I used to in the past but that being said my scent of the day is givenchy gentleman reserve prive 🔥💯
JPG Le Male Elixir and Sauvage Elixir, those two i will buy a big bottle before it's get reformulate or discontinued
unless you only like 1 scent, you dont quite need a back up. its unlikely you ever finish a bottle if you have a small collection of more than 10 bottles

I’m at the bank drive though and just got the email so I scooped up two bottles. Now I have a possible backup unless fragrancenet refunds me my money and said I wasn’t quick enough like all the other times
I have Dior Homme Parfum and Fahrenheit Parfum, those are winter killers! Lucky enough to have gotten my hands on a bottle. YSL Eau fraiche is an excellent everyday wear.
Have you tried the woods collection dusk Chaos? It's another layton clone that's supposed to be really good.
Also, if you have the few extra $25 or so , I would go for the far far superior Layton clone The Woods Collection's - Dusk . It is in another league compared to Detour Noir , and is of much more quality and performance !

Yvs blue electrique no need for backup, get a 100-200ml and if you really want to preserve it get jack of clubs they smell close enough only the wearer will be able to tell the difference
Dior Homme Parfum I have a backup bottle of. How much I love it, and the normal difficulty in getting it, made it a must. I also have a backup of Xerjoff Nio. I got my first Nio at such a great price I immediately bought a backup after wearing Nio for the first time.
D&G Forever is one I wish I could sell. I have a bottle that barely used because I really don't like it.
Dont recommend buying backup bottles only because you like a fragrance but man bleu electrique is something special and worth buying 3 backup bottles of😂 such a sexy scent

Blue Electrique is a great scent, but Fragrance World Jack of Clubs is a clone that is close enough, and the performance is better as far as I'm concerned.
DHP is the GOAT! Definitely back up bottle worthy!
It's amazing. I finally was able to buy it and Bleu Electrique. Love em both but I have over 70 fragrances so there's no need for back up bottles. 😂

There are a lot of other great fragrances that you can buy. bleu electrique is nothing mind blowing, there are alternatives that are similar.

Just look for local online places where people sell used stuff, in my country Bleu Electric is hanging for 42 euros and no one is picking it up. May be I will, I wanna try Jack of Clubs.

YSL Y Eau Fraiche is bright & fresh but it doesn't last long. I don't understand the hype but Detour Noir is just okay.
I don't recommend buying back up bottles like that. Tomorrow a new fragrance that checks every box could become available, making the one you covet useless. Don't waste money. But I will say that Bleu Electrique is lovely and I'm so glad I finally got a bottle at a fairly reasonable price.
I have never smelt Layton before but because of you I bought de tour niour... However I used it an when I went to work my supervisor told me if I was sick I could have stayed home the day I said why. He said because he smelt the Vicks vapor on me... An the list goes on... I have never gotten a good complement on this if anyone wants it I would be glad to send it to them for sure....
That's just the Layton DNA, I have both and in my opinion Layton smells even more menthol like vapor rub, but I really enjoy both scents and enjoy the mint. I'd say Detour is more spicy than minty

I ended up selling my Bleu Electrique 100ml backup. With the collection I have, I'll never get through my 60ml. If by some miracle I do, well, I have plenty of other fantastic fragrances.

They like the y edp because they dont have a chance encountering eau fraiche, this eau fraice is my go to, i dont like y edp smells too strong and gay for man like me..
To me , it makes no sense that you put a few discontinued fragrances on this list , because their prices have skyrocketed , and they are not worth the money they are asking . I certainly would never buy a backup bottle , of a discontinued fragrance that is way way overpriced because of its rareness !

Pointless, if you have more than say 10 scents you might have some variety and shed loads of sprays to last years. Reach 50 plus you should never need a back up bottle, so many hundreds of scents out there to get. Of course choose your own collection size

I wonder why they don't sell original Fahrenheit in the US! They've sold here for eons, now they quit?! And Blue electrique! 🙄 Smelled it like 2 years ago in Macy's! Went back to pick it up and ADG Parfum and it was gone like the wind, never to be seen again! It smelled good too! Not feelin the $100+ price tho!
