How to Configure Amazon SES | Amazon Simple Mail Service SMTP Configuration

In this video, you will see how to configure Amazon SES (Simple Mail Service). To get the Amazon SES you need an Amazon AWS account, and you should add the billing details.
With the Amazon SES you can send emails for transactional purposes or marketing purposes. The SES provides the SMTP configuration. This configuration is required to set it up with any mail-sending services.
It has two options to send emails: you can verify an email and use that email to send the emails, or you can verify a domain and create an email inside SES to send the emails. The email verification works instantly; it will send an email to verify the address. To verify the domain, you may need to wait for a while after adding the records to the DNS of the domain.
In this video, I have tried the Amazon SES SMTP with a WordPress website. My goal is to show if the SMTP works. You can use the SMTP with any service where you have the option to add a custom SMTP configuration.

I have emails setup already in SiteGround and plan to migrate sites to Lightsail.
How can I configure the emails for Outlook, Smartphones, and MacMail without losing access.

Hi,
Lightsail is for sending mail through SMTP; it doesn't have a mail server.
You can keep your emails with Siteground email and use Lightsail for SMTP.
Then, you can configure the Siteground emails with your Gmail/Yahoo/Outlook. I have a video that shows the process for Gmail & Yahoo: th-cam.com/video/IAk0GdajYMU/w-d-xo.html
