Why my gym never teach me this? Why they just be silence when I am struggling in that bottom position? Why can’t any of my professors from all the classes that I have taken point out what I can do?
There's multiple ways to escape mount. You need to find some of the best ways that fit your style and body type. Try hooking their legs with your foot and escape into Quarter or Half Guard. There is no technique that works every time. There is the best technique for any given moment, but you need to figure that out.
This definitely isn't fake, it's a lot like Bruce Lee's 2 inch punch where a ton of power is generated with a whip from legs to hips to shoulders. Although it doesn't look like much is happening, a 100# female training partner who knows this technique can off balance my 240# self with this technique. She cannot upa my heavy body because that's a slower power move, however the rapid pulse of power she generates doing this can off balance me. Try it, drill it and you'll find it works. It does take practice and you need to make sure to get the blade of your framing hand right on their hip pointer and not on their soft tissue gut or thigh. "There is a principle which is a bar against all information, which is proof against all arguments and which cannot fail to keep a man in everlasting ignorance - that principle is contempt prior to investigation" -Herbert Spencer
This move was around in the 1990s and a couple instructors were showing similar.
Great concept- thanks!
