      @@SainiElisabet I know, kicks and bass not simple if you want it sounds massive and good together! I listen a lot on youtube to different people and i here a lot of good tracks qua melody and sounds but a lot of them the bass kick is to hard or to soft?
      The last months i listen a lot to Whiptongue ( th-cam.com/video/8yQ-VZz-DfY/w-d-xo.html ) ( fantastic set and clip listen on a good headphone or speakers and loud)
      It's psy trance but that man has fantastic kick bass lines (its a genius). I know a lot of his tracks are made with software but i want that out of my Elektrons but i don't get it out of them . I hope it will work out sometime? would it possible?

      Hei, kiitos kuuluu ihan hyvää! Yes it's been a long time... I can be a bit hard on myself when it comes to music and sometimes I burn out of trying too hard.. So I took a little break and hopefully now I'm ready to be creative again and most importantly be more gentle on myself. I'm working on a new set so maybe some new posts will be coming out too! Best regards Saini

    Can you tell us more about sheets of paper you have next to the Rytm? Are those notes to help you organize the set?

  • @touiarrial5823
    @touiarrial5823 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Amazing thanks! Need your advice: I also play hard tek. I only have the OT: what additional machine I should get: AR, DT or ST? Anything else? Thanks

    • @SainiElisabet
      @SainiElisabet  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, all those machines are flexible enough to allow you make this genre, Syntakt might be a good one though, haven't laid my hands on it but looking promising. But if you crave for samples, Digitakt is great. AR of course too, but I use it mostly with samples anyway. It just has better performance features compared to Digitakt.

    Best I've heard these 2 machines. How do you find using just the internal effects? I'm also preparing a live set with these and am using external reverb and delay, but the effects sound great in this, especially with your style of music.

    • @SainiElisabet
      @SainiElisabet  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi! Two elektrons indeed make a good base for a set. I try to keep things as simple as possible, so I stick with the internal effects, or sometimes use a bit of mixer effects during gigs. I find the internal effects capable enough for me, as I really just like to have abit of simple reverb and delay here and there. And I've heard a lot of lusher sounds coming from the Elektrons too so the internal effects can get you far in my opinion

    Nice grooves! Really good sounds! How do you mixing and master your tracks?

    • @SainiElisabet
      @SainiElisabet  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I only do some very basic stuff when it comes to these jams. The tracks volumes are mixed on the go while performing, some filtering is done beforehand with the filters in the machine to give each track their own space. Analog Rytm or Digitakt master compression might be used with some tracks. After the recording I gain the master volume and might add some slight compression to the master recording, but nothing dramatic really
