This is a really rad concept for a quiz and I hope you do more of these. I also really liked the way it cut to the original piece for each answer. Score? Pretty good but I botched a couple of locations and mistook a certain Wii title for another one.
I played Persona 5 Royal after playing as Joker in Smash Ultimate and thinking he was really cool. There are so many cool songs in that game, and I’m very surprised at the selection of songs that got ported or remixed for Smash. Beneath the Mask and Aria of the Soul are supposed to be slow and melancholy to fit the slower atmosphere of Persona’s evening life and carefully crafting your team of personas and their attributes respectively, yet they got in Smash. Still others, such as Life Will Change, a high-octane, bombastic, action-packed theme that’s meant to get the Phantom Thieves pumped up for battle against the Palace Ruler doesn’t show up at all in Smash Ultimate except for the initial teaser for Joker! 😂
We've definitely been sleeping on Persona music. We gotta find more excuses to put songs from the game in our quizzes! The fast-paced songs that didn't appear in Smash are awesome, and the songs that are slower in the original game vibe so hard!!
I'm still not sure why a remix of Aria of the Soul was even needed since Battle For Everyone's Souls was also brought over; itself a remix of Aria of the Soul.

We tend to scale how much we include a given series to how financially successful it is, and since FE has more of a cult fanbase, it doesn't appear quite as often. That being said, now that we think about it, our viewers are probably disproportionately likely to be part of FE's cult fanbase, so we could definitely stand to include more games/songs from the series in the future! We'll work on that 😊

This played very often while going through the DK areas of Subspace emmissary. I'll take both coins. 3. This is Norfair from Metroid 1 and later remixed in Zero Mission. Star and bonus coin. 4. No idea. Yeah, my MGS experience is limited to the tutorial level of 2. Never would have guess Snake Eater from that clip. 5. Definitely Kirby. I want to say Butter Building. I recognize it more from Nightmare in Dreamland, which is the remake of Kirby's Adventure. Star and bonus coin. 6. I don't recognize this remix. I do know that it's Midna's Lament, from Twilight Princess, though. Star and coin. 7. No idea. Never played any Animal Crossing past Wild World. 8. Tetris A theme.
