As an Ashlesha ascendant person, I can confirm that not only is the essence of the nakshatra misunderstood, but that people tend to project a great deal of fear onto Ashlesha. I've actually had someone tell me they had a vision of me as a "dragon lady". I am no longer bothered by it, as I now know he was merely fearful of something he didn't understand. True about being loyal, we give everything to those we love and have trouble letting go.
Our bad reputation comes from the fact that we get cranky when our sensitivity is overwhelmed, and when people aren't loyal to us or hurt us we may take it personally and withdraw to protect ourselves. We need a lot of private time due to the aural sensitivity, and open up very slowly so people misunderstand this. If you have us as friends we won't let you down though!

I had goosebumps 🙀 n was abt to cry but everything u said made sense.. I had a boyfriend with ashlesha moon and Revati sun. He was so sincere and loving, I had my doubts abt his loyalty but he made sure to keep me emotionally stable. He was also over protective 😊. What I have observed with Myself and atleast 3 other Ash-Moons :
1. We are deeply emotional but too introverted to express that emotion.
2. Yes. We love Sexual Intimacy but we are deeply insulted when there is no true love and emotional bond in such an interaction. Sex to Ashlesha is sacred, holy... Lovemaking is a sacred Ritual Dance and an Art Form to connect with the Deepest Mysteries of life
3. We love toMysteries and we love exploring. We love Nature very very very very much.
4. Ashlesha Forgives. Yes we do. Ashleshas are the softest and kindest people you can meet but we NEVER forget. Ashleshas are Emotional fools despite having A Razor sharp mind and formidable intellectual capacity.
5. Family first and family last. You do whatever to us and we will endure. But you NEVER EVER EVER EVER hurt our loved ones. EVER. That might very well be the mistake you regret most in your life.
6. An Ashlesha will NEVER strike the first blow but if you make the first move and attack us, expect an epic retaliation. Ashleshas are in general peace loving unless repeatedly provoked.
7. Ashleshas, in general are great in Art as well as Science. If for example they are studying Engineering, they will know great deal about Music and Literature as well. If they are pursuing literature they will be very knowledgeable and interested about Science , especially about the Biological sciences and frontier subjects like cosmology and subatomic particles etc. I have meet only one Ashlesha who is in commerce: she is an MBA. She is damn good in Mathematics and she is also a talented violin player.
8. Ashleshas are reticent and reserved but they are fun loving and can open up around the correct people who treat them with understanding and genuine kindness.
9. Ashleshas love to observe. Their focus is legendary. You cannot distract them easily. Also, they never give up. The Naga WILLPOWER and persistence is stuff of legend.
10. That being said, Ashleshas do get hurt easily. They don't show it but they get depressed easily. With provocation they do get worked up and will lash out . But they do cool down pretty easily too. They don't hold on to grudges but that doesn't mean that they forget everything about their aggressor. They genuinely forgive their enemies. Its just that they are too wise not to fall for the same trick twice.

Wow, that part about the Naga is fascinating... I have very strong respect for water interestingly enough and grew up having wildly intense dreams about water creatures as a child, that to this day still make me wonder. I have the moon in Cancer Ashlesha, and I once asked one of my Indian friends if she knew anything about it (because what I was reading was shocking online, about Ashlesha bringing curses to their prospective marriage, stealing their parents money, killing livestock type of stuff), and her response was jokingly..."if you ever come to India, just don't tell ANYONE". That made me laugh out loud but also shed a small tear lol.
I've been in a relationship for about 8 years, and I'm very much a "one partner forever" type person. To use the snake analogy, I would rather be alone than intertwined with the wrong one.
Maybe I'm misinformed, but it seems to me like it would be a very powerful Nakshatra, just the heart and mind would need to be in a sound place because there is an intensity and focus there that could be either very healing or destructive(and not necessarily outward in society either but rather the inner life). Hopefully I'm doing the former, but I also know I'm not perfect either. I've made countless mistakes trying to get the balance right and I'm sure I'll make many many more! It's good to have a sense of humor to counteract some of that because personally I could, and have gotten totally lost in the intensity before. This is so validating. Yeah its true we can be toxic asf. At times even manipulative. But when we become spiritual and through self introspection we can become better. No sign is inherently evil. Only the individual with the placement can decide that through their actions.

This is so true. I have Venus in Ashlesha, people assume I am promiscuous because the way I look. But I am only devoted to one person. Wow, love this. I know this guy at work who I kind of have a crush on despite him being married..damn. He is Ashlesha Sun,and this was spot on. He seems very sexy but at the same time very innocent, and guess what? He is a vegan as of 2 years back. Also, so true about Moon in Capricorn. A friend of mine has it and she is very feminine and men totally fall for her cool beauty, but she is also very pragmatic. My mom also has her Moon in Capricorn and she is a rock. And a smart, beautiful, pragmatic woman. I wish you would mention Krittika maybe. I have 3 personal planets in 6,7 degrees Taurus(Moon, Mars and Jupiter) and I felt misunderstood all my life. Nearly every word spoken by you Sir on Ashlesha Nakshatra is 100 per cent correct. Have Moon in Cancer in 9th House (Scorpio Lagna) with Moon at 19:50: 47. Have only two planets - Moon and Mars in Ashlesha. Am loyal (though not a good dancer at all!!!!!) and most of the other attributes in the video. Being a Capricorn moon lady and with other 5 planets also in Capricorn, I can confirm that being labeled a gold digger is so common. The truth is, to be with a Capricorn woman - that is the highest feminine, it takes for you to be a male equivalent of that. This is why Capricorn ladies have such high standards. It's Scorpio moon, in Jyshtha. Donald Trump, Mike Tyson, my dad, and two of my classmates. I myself have Jyshtha moon and it took me awhile to get along with, and understand my Jyshtha friends and dad.I think their quick temper and choice of words can often mischaracterize em as the antagonist. Btw my mom and a girl I know have Aslasha moon and although it is true that they have a great deal of hidden depth I've never had trouble dealing with em or misundestood em .They often appear innocent even when they have alteriomatives.But this might be because I am a Jyshtha moon native and Aslasha is usually very compatible with my nakshatra.
