I’ve been following this series since the beginning, I have no idea what’s going on anymore and it’s great. Your videos are getting more and more creative and it’s really cool seeing your channel evolve and flesh out
This is perhaps *the* most mind blowing video I’ve ever seen, and I think it needs to be seen by more people. I feel like this could reach such a large audience, and be gamified into something even more impressive than Portal, Manifold Garden, Hyperbolica and perhaps everything else. This is incredible.
another thing i know about screens are the controls holding right click while hovering over a screen corner moves the corner, same for whole sides. 1-9 for screen colors (9 is the default color that you spawn in) middle clicking (meaning the scroll wheel and click it) will change the color of the screen your mouse is inside to the color you have selected. left click and hold over a corner of an already built screen to rotate it with your mouse left click and hold on a side of a screen moves the whole screen
Your subscriber count is criminally low for the quality of videos you put out. They have the whimsy of CodingTrain challenges and the mystique of 3blue1brown videos and the subtle humor you inject is your own brand entirely. I love it all
Thank you very much, that's really kind! I like both of those channels a lot. I'm very pleased with my subscriber count though, I like the channel feeling like a little secret :)
I really love how this channel went from a coding channel simply showing tech demos and other related content into well produced art, it tingles my brain in a way no other channel does.
Nobody can hear you scream when you are in a screen in a screen and they are outside of screen in screen but still in a screen. And non-euclidean scream is the most soul shattering one.
Oh FUCK yeah it’s open source. This is pretty sick. Is this whole channel just you working out how the fundamental properties of computing concepts work, taking notes based on how you find your way to certain aspects mentally, and then making a video on those notes after finishing the code to solidify the concepts? Cause that is an awesome way to build solid intuition on complex ideas like this.
My favourite video yet! I love the exploration of maths and code to end up in a kind of nerdy acid trip. The repetition/recursion is very on-brand for you, given the style your videos have evolved into. Can't wait for next month*!
I found your channel 3 days ago with the "New Cellular Automata" video, watched it all, stayed in silence for 5 minutes, looked at the ceiling and said "ok, I'm not prepared for this. today i watched every single video from the start without pause and I don't regret it. I can say for sure your channel is going to blow up in popularity very soon, even tho I wanted this to be my secret safe place on the internet. bro u just made my year so much better ❤
This one was quite trippy! Just found your channel today via the poignant story of Bird's failed attempts to impress the internet. What a delightful place to relax and have one's mind stroked. Thank you.
I could add this as an edit to my earlier concept but the ideas are separate enough I see no need. This channel is CRIMINALLY underrated. The quality on every video I have seen so far EASILY gives it the potential to go viral, this shit should absoLUTELY be hitting the top of trending.
while I love the fact that this is just like, a strange corner of the internet you stumble upon every once in a while, it'd be great if more people could see these wacktastical shenanigans I love the stuff you make, it's genuinely inspiring as a programmer
Is this the newest excuse as to why they're putting chemicals in the water? Amazing video btw, I really like the music Makes everything feel cozy and or more impactful
Holy shit! Your best work to date! ^^3 ✨👏👏👏✨ very impressed with the performance and with the infini zoom! I wrote a game back in the day with a similar concept (in flash 🥲 the good old days...) Ran into precision errors way sooner than I wanted :P anyway, your voice is so soothing and the videography is stellar! Keep up the good work 💜✨
POV: your adventuring party must assist in the construction of a powerful magic mirror, and you've sought out the assistance and knowledge of an Archfey.
I accidentally stumbled upon this video but the emotion I feel watching this is quite frankly indescribable in a good way I think? keep up the good work??
Can someone explain what is this
Screens.
To put it simply: Screens.
Its Screens in Screens in Screens
Shit
when the screen is the screen but not a screen is sometimes a screen. hope that helps
How it starts: educational programming/math video
How it ends: full DMT breakthrough
that's right, the SandPond Saga goes on quite a journey doesn't it. i hope you're enjoying your binge through the backlog!
I’ve been following this series since the beginning, I have no idea what’s going on anymore and it’s great. Your videos are getting more and more creative and it’s really cool seeing your channel evolve and flesh out
Haha thank you, that's lovely to hear! I'm glad you stuck around all this time. And don't worry - I have no idea what's going on either!
I'm completely convinced you both exist more outside of reality, and more inside of reality, than anyone to have ever existed.
Hahaha hmmmm... that sounds fun! Thanks for watching :)
the energy of "you ever wonder what somebody is thinking?"
I wish I could give you a hug, you’d totally make for the best of friends. I could only imagine the type of conversations we’d have.

Thanks! That's very kind of you to say. I'll probably do more stuff with screens at some point in the future!
Or Superliminal...
@@Aaron628318 Yes, that too!
It already exists, it's called Patrick's Parabox
@@OrchidAlloy Sounds cool; I’ll have to check it out!
I love how mindbending this stuff is. What a unique way to show off code youve made!
10/10 would fall into a screen in a screen again
Just got recommended this video out of nowhere, you might've hit the TH-cam algorithm jackpot my dude
This is the most surreal video showcasing fractals I've ever seen
This was a fever dream and I loved every second of it!
Haha thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :)
This is one of the coolest abstract art apps I've ever seen
I don't know what I just watched but I'm here for it.

Extremely cool new engine and great video too! I think you've explored the screens concept very well.
Thanks Tann!! Glad you enjoyed it :)
... I just got here and I'm *_really_* confused, but I think I'm here for it

@@TodePondwoah i found the youtube's secret hard drive of cool content
I came in expecting recursion but ended up having a full frogsedelic experience.
You were the screen a whole time. How magical
im not sure how this got recc'd to me but I'm glad it did. what a delightful series this is
I really love how this channel went from a coding channel simply showing tech demos and other related content into well produced art, it tingles my brain in a way no other channel does.
Warping was the thing I didnt expect and it made screens 1000% cooler
Nobody can hear you scream when you are in a screen in a screen and they are outside of screen in screen but still in a screen. And non-euclidean scream is the most soul shattering one.
Scary! But it's true!

What i get from your video is, perspective are not always the same to one another; you just made art my guy.
this guy knows a lot about screens
Why did I have an existential crisis while watching this? Im only 23, why
This is so aesthetically pleasurable
I just got here, I have no idea what's going on. But I know one thing: this video's style is really something special.
This guy seems pretty smart, I wonder how much he knows about screens
Every video descends into mushroom chaos
i love this channel because it makes me constantly question what the hell is going on

You are a wonderfully creative individual. This is so deliciously unique.
From my experience this is what genius looks like. And why so many brilliant people got killed during the dark ages.
Wow, I didn't know any of these things about screens. You're much more knowledgeable than I.
Wow, I REALLY like your art style for it's simplicity and cuteness. And the animation aswell.
while I love the fact that this is just like, a strange corner of the internet you stumble upon every once in a while, it'd be great if more people could see these wacktastical shenanigans
I love the stuff you make, it's genuinely inspiring as a programmer
Yup. TH-cam knows what I don’t know about myself for sure.
You’re ethereal and I hope to be your friend. This is awesome. This is my JAM.
I love it, please come back to making more of this.
I absolutely adore the surrealist art this has become. I have zero idea what I'm watching half the time and I am *here* for it.
idk why but that ending made me cry. i needed this video tn
I am endlessly thankful that I had this video to watch past midnight, thank you for this transcendent piece
I tried out the engine and it's noticably buggy but if you don't do anything too crazy it's pretty cool and fun to play around with, great job!
Thanks! Yes please be careful - using screens is very dangerous so it's for advanced todes and berds only ⚠
I drew like four screens and it made this cool vector looking city scape, I got a screen shot before the browser crashed lol😂
Is this the newest excuse as to why they're putting chemicals in the water?
Amazing video btw, I really like the music
Makes everything feel cozy and or more impactful
Hahaha maybe! and thank you!! I usually use the amazing music of Anjunadeep (and sometimes Anjunabeats)!!
Oh my god this was so beautiful!!!!
I never knew I always needed this, and it’s amazingly peaceful having seen it.
Instant subscribe, love this kind if unique explorationw
Mandelbrot would be proud.
after 10 seconds i wanted to not watch the video, but i couldn't stop, ended up that i love you now
i wish there was someway to listen to "screens in screens in screens" on it's own, it's quite a calming song
YoutTube really did just recommend me a masterpiece I was not expecting nor prepared to witness

Thank you very much! That's very kind! Glad you enjoyed it, and your project sounds fun too! It was a really fun concept to explore :)
I don't know what the purpose of this video and channel, but that was cool
This is genuinely so impressive all this such complex behaviour in such a simplistic looking progran
felt like the end of an amazing series, completely loved it!
Throughout the vid i was asking myself "i wonder how you could use screens though"
Then at 4 05 my question was answered in the most beautiful way
this is underrated honestly, looks great and fun
Just got here, i haven't the slightlest clue what is going on but i am loving it.
these videos are so trippy I've never seen anything like them
What a unique style of video.
Thank you! This was definitely a weird one!
I want the frog to be happy :(
POV: your adventuring party must assist in the construction of a powerful magic mirror, and you've sought out the assistance and knowledge of an Archfey.
The algorithm knows I would watch the entire thing, and like it enough to comment. Cheers
I just found this in recommended and without a doubt, you earned a follower, I wish you to grow a lot
This is trippy as hell
The amount of recursion in this video is amazing!
Thanks! Thank you for watching! :)
I don't know if this fever dream was meant to be soothing or threatening in a strange but fascinating way
maybe both! :)
I am absolutely in love with this. Simple rules, complex behaviour.
Perfect narration too :p
your videos are amazing mate, I just found your channel and I'm loving it
Hey thank you very much! I hope you enjoy your stay! 🐸
A generalization of Patrick’s parabox to the continuous domain
This looks awesome! The video quality is excellent, I absolutely enjoy it 😊
Thank you! Thanks for watching, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I just discoverd your channel and i may never leave
Welcome! Enjoy your stay! 🐸
This was a good comfort during a bad high 🥺
i dont know where i am, why we’re talking about screens, but i like this.
3:29 "Skewed Screens'
I was not prepared.
i love ur channel, its like listening to a bedtime story
except the bedtime story is about technical stuffs
Really calming to watch
Thanks! I'm glad you found it calming!
My heart actually skipped a beat seeing a new sandpond video in my feed
Aha, that's nice to hear! Hope you enjoyed it :)
Este video hizo mi dia 100 veces mejor, el nivel de creatividad y storytelling para hacer un video asi esta en otro nivel. Muchas gracias.
they performed 6d hyperdimensional trickery to delete the worm guy
This is so beautiful, I'm tearing up
I want the frog to say “it’s Wednesday my dudes”
i don't know why this was recommended to me, i don't do code because my brain is too small for it but this video was very satisfying to watch
I realized i knew nothing about screens before watching this video
One thing I know about screens is
That they are one hell of a trip
Also I love that outro song
me casually setting upon one of the best videos I've ever seen
Holy crap I'm commenting for the algorithem so that more people will see this because holy crap this is amazing
very well executed, whatever this is
ok, this is nice.
also, I now understand why people talk about there being confusing videos in this channel
he has escaped containment
Amazing. Thank you so much for existing.
Thank you very much! And I quite like existing so that's no problem at all :)
Background music goes haaard. Amazing video!
"I have no idea what I call this..." is so unexpected to me
Great Video!
Is there an engine for putting frogs into frogs into frogs into frogs into frogs into fro...
Haha thank you very much! Yes! I used it for this video - it's called Adobe After Effects!
I accidentally stumbled upon this video but the emotion I feel watching this is quite frankly indescribable in a good way I think? keep up the good work??
