I truly am happy they got this port right. They added 4K support, ultrawide, DLSS, Frame Generation, and so much more and the best part is it actually runs well. There have been many PC ports of this similar quality and they couldn’t even get it right with poor performance and bugs. Double Eleven did a fine job on this port so hats off to them for not messing it up

There's just something about RDR 1 and being alone after finishing a mission that feels just downright creepy and dreadfilled. RDR 2 is amazing, but this game just had a certain vibe to it.

Double eleven did a great job porting this, runs really nice even though im not on any monster PC (Ryzen 3700x, Gigabyte RTX 3060) Everything on highest except shadows which seems to demand a bit more and no upscaling

I've played it through maybe 4 times, and i've watched countless playthrough's of the game and the DLC. Absolute masterpiece of gaming for its time, and honestly such a timeless classic. Reminds me of the good ol' days.

RDR1 and RDR2 are such beautiful games, to be honest, one of my all-time favorites, and if RDR3 ever comes out, I'll be all smiles and happy and good for the time being
I highly doubt Rockstar will ever make a third one. Besides, there would be no sequel to it because the Wild West era would come to an end as Jack tends to age afterwards. Nevertheless, it could start out with Dutch forming the gang but who knows what Rockstar has up their sleeve for a next upcoming game of theirs.
A suggestion for a RDR2 replay. Use keyboard and mouse and play mostly in first person, it's amazing. Feels like a whole different game and is much more immersive
This brings back memories of PS3 days. My brother and I drove to 2 different Walmart in the night to purchased this game. Our local Walmart sold out, so we drove an hour out to the nearest town. Didn't come home till 4 in the morning. Nowadays we just download games. Good times.

lmao they wont forget about the Red Dead series. They are already working on the third one. That started when the second one became one of the best selling games ever. It will be a prequel since they are going backwards in time. It will most likely have a new protagonist for the main game like Arthur was in the second and John was in the first. And then just like how John was the main character for the epilogue in the second one, Arthur will be the the protagonist and most likely show what happened in Blackwater, setting up the gang going to Colter in the second game.
They could've made this so much better just by adding a couple extra voice lines. When John says to Bill "I implore you" Bill could've responded "oh you implore me? Did you learn that fancy word from Arthur" Bam one line connects Arthur to this game.

Guys, I've never played red dead games. only seen some gameplay from RDR 2 but never played it myself. I've always been a PC gamer. my last console was PS1 which I still have.. BTW, such a shame that people don't talk to each other in such a respectful manner like during those times.
