I am installing a 9000 BTU Senville split air unit. The unit only draws 6.1amps normally to 8 amps max. I was planning to hook it up to my 15 amp circuit. The circuit will have other appliances on it but I wont be using any of them while this unit is running. The only way I can tap into that circuit is to take a fixture of my porch light which I would remove. The light is controlled by a switch inside which now would control the split air system. I would use the wires from the light fixture that was removed and extend them to my outdoor inverter condensor unit via a wall mounted non fused disconnect which would be mounted outside near the condensor. I have purchased the factory wire back from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. Do you see any issues with that type of wiring. Your response would be much appreciated.

My opinion !!! Too many irrelevant connection. Just make it simple by running the power from the circuit breaker through the DP switch, then run it through the the indoor. The indoor will change the LINE TO SIGNAL which will then run as , Signal, Neutral, Earth for the outdoor....the isolator isnt needed and there is no need for the outdoor to receive power from 2 sides (isolator & indoor) according to your video because if LNE goes into the outdoor, it will nullify the SN coming from the indoor and the compressor will run without rest......check your video its wrong.
I am not AC technician. Recently bought inverter AC and discussed with technician. You are partially correct, as per this video wiring diagram outdoor always runs if it is non-Inverter AC and there are no communication wires in non-inverter ACs, . But in case of Inverter AC, power supply (Phase, Neutral and Earth) should be given to Indoor (to outdoor) or outdoor (to Indoor) and also there will be one or two control/communication lines which runs from indoor to outdoor. These lines actually controls the outdoor unit whether to turn it on/off and also for communication between Indoor and outdoor.

I mean power is given to one unit indoor to outdoor OR outdoor to indoor (depending on manufacturer design). The only difference is the inverter technology in it which is another topic entirely as it has to do mostly with AC compressors being swapped for DC. It has absolutely nothing to do with the power supply. Dont get confused pls. However, if this connection in the video is done on 'some' inverter acs, it would cause a lot of damage and owner may have to purchase a new ac.

For beginner it will not help them to wire the split ac without proper diagram or specific like compressor connection and pcb also with or without contactor.

No need for an isolator switch when you already have a dp switch and also the breaker (you can just isolate from there).

The compressor will not run unless it recieve signal from the indoor which turn on the relay. This method is correct
