THIS is my absolute favorite live song by Ed. I've seen him several times, and it blows me away every time. 🙂 He has said he wrote it about an experience he had with MDMA at a wedding in Ibiza. Also, the BBMAs are the Billboard Music Awards 🙂 And, I HIGHLY recommend his performance of Eraser (Live) [Extended F64 Version]. it's phenomenal!

I've unfortunately only seen him live once, right after his hiatus, in a smaller venue ... can't afford the big shows unfortunately. But I hope he never stops performing this one!!! I love it, and the whole crowd just goes nuts, it has a special energy when he plays it live!!! Same with sing and YDNMIDNY! And I'm totally with you when it comes to the extended live version of eraser!!
This song became one of my favorites after watching it being performed live in his 2017 Divide Tour concert in my country. It's simply outstanding. This version has the lyrics cut due to the time given for the performance, that's why it didn't make much sense too. The second verse is: "I've been looking for a lover Thought I'd find her in a bottle God make me another one I'll be feeling this tomorrow Lord forgive me for the things I've done I was never meant to hurt no one And I saw scars upon her broken hearted dove" That's where the "And I saw scars upon her, tell me when it kicks in... broken hearted" he shouts at the end come from. It's truly such a deep raw song. And performed live it's just a mind-blowing experience.
Ed’s performance of this song at Glastonbury 2017 was mind blowing. So much feeling. He ended up breaking the strings on his guitar but kept going- extending his arm out with the broken guitar while waiting for it to be exchanged. The video’s since been taken down, but it was a breathtaking performance
I saw Ed on tour after this album came out and it is still one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. Just him, his guitar, and loop pedals. It’s honestly amazing seeing him build up these songs and still blows me away every time
Bloodstream live on "heart" was much better in sound quality, and it was absolutely amazing and it was the whole performance, the one you did here isn't the full song

iirc in some interview he had said that his next album "Minus" would be reminiscent to his "Plus" album with only acoustic instruments so I'm reaaaally hoping that it will have more grittier songs like before

Much prefer Ed's early stuff, he hasn't always done luvie dovie songs, that's not saying I don't like his love songs, I just prefer his grittier songs
