Hey, was there ever a part two of this? I couldn't find it. Do you have an mp3 of it? Sorry for all the questions but I really enjoyed listening to this... by far the best use of the EMX I have seen. I bought an EMX myself a few months ago and have been trying to put some tunes together, but still have a lot to learn. Your videos and Andygaro's are a big inspiration for making techno with just the one box!

hey Mihail sorry to sound like such a newbie but I cannot quite grasp the difference between EMX and ESX. Correct me if I'm wrong: here you used all the sounds that are already available in the machine and tweaked them with filters, LFO's, etc, when with ESX you can use your own samples but have less tweaking options. Anyway, your set was absolutely awesome, dub techno as I love it. Keep up the good work, peace from France. (PS: you made me want to buy the damn machine ahah, would you recommend it for someone who never had any gear in his hand ? I am totally refractory to use any DAW, I would really prefer using a machine like this, but I'm a total noob)
do u copy one part of the next pattern to fade in before the switch to it? Also..do u use the transpose for your various tracks...or are they all at 0 transpose? anyway..nicve tracks..second one is special and the 23:59 is as well. ( and the 27:24..deep chords !
That`s right, I usualy build the patterns order, saving them like A01, A03, A05, A07, A09, etc. Then I make patterns between them, which contain parts of the previous and the next ones. Boring and a bit confusing rutine, but I didnt found another decision how to mix them when use only emx. Maybe you could give me some advice?
Amazing liveset. For what it's worth: i usually name the pattern ">5,9" so i know that pressing patternset+5 or 9 will jump to a different song which are 'betweenpatterns' of different songs (kindof like a multiple choice strategy)

lovely sounds, those stabs at ~4.20 onwards.. how do you create them like that? the depth is amazing. I have tried with a combination of chord osc set to saw and a number of different chords from minor 7th to sus, with mod delay and reverb chained but still cannot get as deep as sound as you have created please help me out, much love!
the whitenoise actually does it , guess its another synth part layered over and motion sequenced the tweaks ... chain the delay and reverb and put A TON of reverb on it , almost like to the max ;) after u also need to modulate the cutoff with lfo ...
Hi! SmartMedia is enough for EMX, be sure. I have over 40 save files with 256 patterns each. and there is much memory left. envelopes? there are just two types of envelopes: sustain or release. you can change the Attack only with lfo (one of it`s types).. or filter.
yes, 4.11 - short fx-pad that goes up is PCM, 14.20 - funk guitar from PCM, 19.54 - piano sound and 22.40 - background string chord that fades in from lpf

What did you use for the bass at 14:00? Slap?

How you can make dub with Emx ? I'ts really hard to me ^^ Bpm fx or instrumental particulary ?
115 - 125 bpm , much reverb and delay, pan , cutoff modulation on synth ;)
