Another is EX and the Krimson team are actually a team of violent hitmen or a local mafia (criminal enterprise - with street racing as one of their activities) that have been holding both Sarah and Carter hostage in at least two cutscenes (one of which showed Sarah's car destroyed by a grenade). And just imagine how much pressure Buddy had to go through in performing the hit directly on Mick as part of a contract killing staged by the Player through EX. And that he is also the leader of the city's local college street racing fraternity which would mean these events might have stained his reputation and made him look like a coward. And lastly, with the Player going through a temporary amnesia, which meant he was probably brainwashed on morphine whilst in the hospital recovering from his injuries some time after that race happened.
The darkest and the best story Need for Speed has ever gotten. Not even MW05 nor *Carbon* in Palmont City can match the grim nature of the story's conclusion. I mean think about it, we didn't know we were playing as an *_actual murderer._*

Truth Of Mick's Crash (Warning, Spoiler Ahead!) The Player hired Ex to kill his brother, because everyone hated him because of how he act, he act like a monster, at the crash, the player have an Amnesia which makes him didn't remember anything.
This here is even more bizarre than an M. Night Shyamalan plot twist, where we are actually playing as a murderer who ordered a hit on his brother. This type of contract killing is quite complex, as the Player hired EX to stage and plan the hit, and in turn, EX had Buddy engineer and directly perform the hit on Mick. But because Buddy did it just for the money, it is possible that there might have been a cleaner involved to forge different evidence of Mick’s assassination, but later on in one of the cutscenes, the stuff on Buddy’s phone sealed EX’s fate. If you think about it, this kind of sounds more like Hitman than Need For Speed.
Really nostalgia hits hard when I was 13 or I guess 14 I used to play this game on my brothers psp it was legit af 🔥 idk but I like this game more than the pc version of nfs carbon
Yeah this games story is pretty good compared to the larger console and pc port. That story felt rushed and a lot seemed to be left out story wise and content wise. Carbon was a rushed game and a lot more was planned out but EA really wanted the game to be out by the deadline but own the city was a better game imo because the story was more memorable.

The MC of this game is probably the most evil character in the whole NFS history, an murderer who doesn't get caught because he is treated like the victim, convencing everyone he was a colateral damage. Yeah, Mick was a shitty person and all, but his younger brother, the player... Is even worse, lol
