I'm a Japanese person who loves the C62, but this is the first time I've seen such a perfect and wonderful C62 model. I was really impressed. The video is also very well done and cool.
Of course i'm a little bit biased but the fact that you're using my texture pack on these abolutley beutiful locomotives makes the cinematic so much better. Thanks a lot for this awesome cinematic! ;)
1:05 this allmost remides me of the galaxy Express 999, is a shame they got replaced by diesels and eletrick engines, but i wonder how many engines of this typ of 62 ar still around in real life?
There are 5 examples that are still around. The locations of all of these are already touched upon in the video. As for the locomotives themselves, C62 1, 2, and 26 are at Kyoto, C62 17 is in Nagoya, and C62 3 is in Hokkaido. If you want a chance to ride one of these in real life, Kyoto is the place to check out!
