Welcome to Pass the Mic! Meet Lesia, Ayan, Purity, Kateryna and Miles Rutendo, the five incredible individuals who are part of UNHCR's Refugee Speakers Programme 2024.
UNHCR's Refugee Speakers Programme, run with support from speaking coaches from TEDxStockholm and other TEDx organizations, is an initiative providing an opportunity for aspiring speakers with a refugee background to develop their storytelling and public speaking skills and share their personal story of fleeing and/or starting over in a new country.
Join us in celebrating the power of storytelling and the impact it can have on raising awareness about the refugees. Together, let's create a world where everyone's voice is heard and where refugees are welcomed and supported.
