One ritual I’ve heard about that isn’t on here is the Paper Towel Roll Ritual.
It’s named because the main object you need is a hollow cylindrical piece that fits over your eye perfectly. To perform this ritual you need salt, a paper towel roll, a pencil and two papers, a room with a single doorway, and something to draw your blood.
First comes the set up. Wait until 3:00 AM. You will then write your name on a piece of paper using the pencil, and on the second sheet, write the first name that comes to your mind.
Next, carefully ensure you sit with your back to the door to the room.
Now you want to place the sheet of paper with your name on it in front of you where it can be read normally. The other sheet you want to set about 4 feet in front of you, where it reads upside down from your perspective.
After that, draw a line evenly in the middle between the pieces of paper using the salt. Make the line as long as the pieces of papers, or as the longest piece of paper.
Finally, using whatever instrument you have, prick or slit your right index fingertip and imprint your fingerprint onto the piece of paper with your name on it.
If all goes well, you’ll hear your door open behind you. Without turning to see who entered the room, quickly being the paper towel roll to your eye where you can see out of it. Do not move beyond this point, nor do not show any emotion. You should see some entity sit across from you. This entity can be a wide range of spiritual beings including demonic beings.
Formally introduced yourself to the entity, and wait patiently for the entity to introduce themselves back. Once that is done, you can ask them for advice or tips, or even ask them for help on how to gain what you most desire.
Formally end the conversation politely and always thank the entity for the advice if the entity is polite with you. If the entity is disturbed, angered, upset, or distressed, loudly declare that they are no longer welcomed here and they must return to where they came from. Failure to do so can cause the entity to latch onto you after the ritual ended and wait to strike when you let your guard down. Only put down the paper towel roll after you hear the entity close the door behind it when it leaves.
It’s not a really disturbing ritual and it’s more on the safe side of things but I remember hearing about this ritual back in middle school. Two kids did not return to school after hearing the ritual and we all joked that the demons got them, turns out they became sick.

I actually have a funny story stemming from the Elevator ritual. when i was like 11-12 so around in 2012-13 I thought these rituals and creepypastas were real, ya know as any kid did so when i was on holiday with my family and great grandparents we were staying in a hotel with a elevator... so my stupid self decided to do the elevator ritual with me and my great grandma in the lift, so we got to my floor (great grandparents room was on a higher floor) and i got off then realising i did the "ritual" and i started screaming cause i thought i just sent my fucking grandma to another dimension. later that night i didn't stop crying that's until my grandma walks in to get us for dinner and little me was in shock that she was still alive and not in a different dimension. kids are wacky bro

The one thing that prevents these from scaring the fuck out of me is that you csn’t do most, if not all of them, on accident. Intent is key. So if there was ever a ritualpasta that had a rule that said if you read or hear about it you automatically start playing, I’d drop dead from fright lol

The Three Kings ritual has intrigued me ever since I heard about it. Something about how weirdly specific but still easily do-able it is and how you're basically putting yourself in a state of sensory deprivation / meditation is pretty interesting. The game of deduction inside the ritual is neat, and the consequences of losing are kept vague enough to make you follow the rules closely without coming off as cheesy.

It's pretty fun as every demon has a reason why you may want to summon them, from "Call upon this demon to consult them on the making of potions and tinctures" to "If you impress this demon enough he will give you a magical familiar" to "This one is dangerous to bind but if you succeed he will reveal to you the thoughts of your enemy"

Back when i was a teen, i did a ritual with a group of friends, i don't fully remember how it went, but it was one of those "test of courage" ones.
For it, we held a candle up to a mirror, in the same way as in the dark reflection.
Thing is, the candle caused the mirror to crack, spooking us all, and some of the hot wax spilled on my hand, causing me to scream even louder.
My mom ran in, seeing me crying, my friends shaking, a burning candle rolling across the floor, and our expensive mirror broken.
She calmly send my friends home (it was late anyways) before proceeding to whoop my ass so hard i could see into the afterlife.

I found out about it around the same time as SCP, and I was always a little sad that they couldn't be equally successful, although I understand why - you can only put so many spins on the formula the first few Object entries used, and the subsequent ones ran with
Some of the entries were different, did something new and interesting that broke the repetition, and the expanded lore with the tales was pretty good. It had potential, the community just didn't act on it while it was alive.

I remember a concerted effort to write the missing 2,000 back into the story to revitalize things, but they fell victim to formulae. There're only so many times you can write about going to any insane asylum and asking the person at the front desk to see the Holder of the Playful Hamster, and trying to buck that trend wasn't the most popular thing to do. I don't remember any backlash, but it was frowned upon.

Is the lightless city also a ritual?
Basically you go in some alley or somehwere in your city, you chant "lightless city, lightless city"
and you appear in a city without light. If you use the ritual once you lose an eye and the person you hate goes blind. To use it twice
is to lose both eyes, going blind and not being able to escape the cold lighless city, but the person you hate dies.
Its an old creepy pasta and I dont remember all the details correctly.

Anyone else remember the channel LupusCreepus? I remember watching him perform some of the tier one and maybe the tier two rituals to either debunk them or get a good scare. I think it was my gateway to creepy youtube. Had hella dad/grandpa vibes too before Wendigoon too !!!

I listened to this while in school so I could focus gud, and when I fell asleep this deadass got into my dreams. So like, I'd be passed out, and then in my dream Sacrow would be there in the sky reading the rituals still.
And not even just that it was like the video was playing on speakers that were in the sky, so just. Sacrow talking from the sky to tell me in my dreams about rituals.
    10/10 would play again

Please make a video on Tulpas if you have not already! That would be epic.
Lucid dreaming to this was amazing! Thank you so much for this. Rituals speak to our in some pretty deep ways. We become the creature we are trying to escape. There are so many of these that explore our mysterious monsterous nature. How do we reason with that in us that wants to die? There are also curses that if you dont know how to eat or resolve people pass on, like curse hot potato. I really like this stuff. Some of these would be a great book/ movie game. There are so many ones that curse you some ways just for reading/ listening.

here's another cool mirror ritual I don't see many people talk about:
it has to be a highly used mirror (think hotel room mirror) otherwise it won't work. you'll also need two cigarettes. wait until midnight, set an alarm for 3 am and smoke one of the cigarettes in the dark in front of the mirror. do not lose sight of your reflection no matter how dim. when you're about halfway through the cigarette and the room is filled with smoke, you'll see through the mirror a figure of a man slowly materializing somewhere in the room. without looking at him, offer the other cigarette and he will start smoking it. while he's doing this, you can ask him questions about anything and he will tell you the truth and it will be correct. but you have to be careful not to let him finish the cigarette or he will get aggressive.
once you're done with your questions, turn around, attack him and quickly gouge his eyes out. really. hold them with your fists clenched and do not open them. turn on the lights to make him disappear and wait until the 3 am alarm goes off. you'll feel your hands burning but do not open them. if you do, the light bulb will blow and he will still be there. after it's 3 am you'll be safe to open your hands and get out. they will be scarred.
once the ritual is done, your luck will get noticeably better. the downside is that your hands will be forever cold, you'll have nightmares for the rest of your life, and if you're ever in a dark room with a mirror, you'll need to close your hands or he will be able to find you by looking through your hands.
    think it's worth it?

    Ooo!
The "Alternate Soul" thing could tie into a story about the supernatural.
Given that most things want your soul in stories like that, having an Alternate Soul could be a way of staying alive (like having a 1-up in a game) but losing your reflection.
Dunno what negatives come with having no reflection...
Maybe Vampire hunters mistake you as one?

aaah~ Sara Sarita brings so many memories lol, the game actually spread all throughout south america or at least enough for it to be popular in Venezuela. A group of my classmates and I would play it while we waited to be picked up. Those were some fun times, since we got really cocky because there was a church nearby.
Also if you want to connect with your heritage I definitely recommend looking for community events near you! I’m sure everyone would be ecstatic to see you take the initiative and will be glad to help you out. Good luck bro 👍
