Ah the chicken legged house of Baba Yaga - the OG mech and a place where many adventures end and some start. I like how they got the whole lower chicken part in. The game looks pretty nice. Since they are going in a slavic direction, I guess the name of the game would be spoken with an "e" like in "rent" and would mean "river".
Omgosh, I love that mode of travel for your home!! I haven’t watched Howl’s Moving Castle in forever. “Emotional range of a teaspoon”, such a great little catch phrase, I love it!!!! On to the game, it looks really cute, such a difference than grilling n killing for your own sake!! Thank you Feb for a great showcase!!
Apparently and this is according to google I've heard you can also make potions haven't come across a potion making station as described so far but you never know lol also thanks for the shout out nearly choked on my tea lol 😅😊 and for the vid
Now that you have set off from Fair Britannia's shores and left the warm reassuring embrace of Todd Sampson, I can recommend Eastshade, another non-violent quest based game set on an island that the player (a painter by job description) has just arrived on by ship which has several non-violent quests but mainly painting jobs / quests where the player is commissioned to paint scenes containing this or that landscape geography or this or that fauna or flora type or portrait. The player doesn't paint the painting the paintings paint themselves in a quick animation after the player sets the boundaries of the painting over the games graphics wilderness or town scenes. A very pleasant game with very good reviews and great graphics for a non-violent game. I do hope you give it a go. I can't remember if I bought it but I mainly buy games when they are very cheap to remember the good ones and support the industry and rarely play them as I prefer to watch videos of people playing them or reviewing them. The painting the player does in Eastshade turn out to be quite beautiful.
Thank you for this review, Feb! I had seen this game and liked the art style and folk-y feel to it, and it didn't seem to destroy or otherwise corrupt the legend of Baba Yaga. Also as you say, it seems a nice change of pace. It intrigued me, and so I have it on my wishlist. I think I shall have to watch as the game progresses. I had hoped the game revolved more around your apprenticeship with Baba Yaga and the things you would learn from her. I mean building a cool house is good and all, but then what? Actually living in a place simply doesn't work in video games, unfortunately. It does seem early in the development, though, so this may become something wonderful over time. Wishing you a hopeful New Year! 🎉
Well, if you like this game, I'm fairly certain you'll love the upcoming Hobbit game due out early next year. Tales of The Shire is the name. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out.
Well, it's not my cup of tea. I'm rather busy with STALKER 2 these days. However, to get away from all the mayhem of STALKER now and then, I wouldn't mind cooling off watching you do a playthrough of this. But I'd wait until there's much more content.

It does mean River! I feel like I've missed some fairytale lore in my life:)
Seems like quite a cozy game. I would watch a playthrough if you decide to do that!
I might do that when they finish it - can't wait until they do!

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed checking it out:)) And totally, Hermione just said what we all think :D
Love that the hens actually sit on their nests, and the cat and rabbit sit/lie down in their baskets ... and ...Baba Yaga!
Right?!
Merry Christmas Feb! Hope you have an incredible new year!
Thank you very much! You too:)

Oooh I haven't found a potion station yet - exciting! And thanks for the recommend
I played this and loved it. I am all for the dark pagan folklore mood that the game has. For one quest I got a crow bone mobile, which was adorable.
So many cute items in this game!

Definitely it's full of lovely quests so far but it feels like there's a lot more to come so I'll be following this:)
Never heard of this one but it looks really good Ferb 😊

Game Devs: "Feb logged in. We're going to need a lot more clicky things ASAP. "
LMAO
Looking cute.
P.S.: I take offense at the tea spoon... my emotional range is the toothpick!
LMAO!
Very interested in games that amuse your sensibilities!
Good to hear!
I do love a Baba Yaga! I've added it to my Steam wishlist. :D
Nice!:)
It's a lovely game. I've seen a playthrough 🤔 can't remember where. I like that someone has put a unique spin on Baba Yaga. I'd love to play it.
It's definitely a lot of fun even now with it's few rough edges:)
🎄👍

Skyrim being Skyrim there is a related quest/house mod that you might have missed. th-cam.com/video/qcc0g5HhREg/w-d-xo.html
Ooooh Dr Who's weeping angels you say? :D
Don't feel bad about calling it a "girly" game, becaue I agree! It's a game aimed at the girls and the gays
Right?! Glad it's not just me that thinks so:)
