How would you reposition the input if the person is not in the middle of the screen ? Say it's a remote caller and you're not able to move the camera or shout in his ear to center the camera. In this video the woman is also not nicely centered in the mask for example.
The only easy workaround would be to use 'Virtual PTZ' functionality -- www.vmix.com/help25/index.htm?PTZPanTiltZoom.html -- to allow you to pan a zoomed image left or right within its original frame. vMix seems to work slightly annoyingly when it comes to the key/fill section when composing masks in that the effect is always applied based on the source image and not on any positional changes that you may have applied .... which is a shame as it then requires a zoom to facilitate the PTZ but does however always have the safety net of not being able to 'over pan' out of shot. I appreciate this may not answer or solve your original problem, but I will continue to look further into this. P
As a very crude and exceptionally limited workaround which is certainly not beneficial to most workflows, you could look at having the talent assigned to a mix (should you have any spare) and then the border and key can be applied to the choice within that mix. This allows you then to move and resize the original source image which does not have an effect on border and key positioning. Like I say, very crude and certainly not an ideal method. P
