Dang alot of this is a good bit of what I grew up on and I grew up in the 80s and 90s..but I had a granny who survived this living with us then ..and we had her frugality and recipes..to help since we were poor anyway.. and anyone with some flour and cornstarch and a can of evaporated milk or powedered can make a poor mans cream sauce lol..and ..what the heck ? Gnocchi was cheaper to make back then than it is now lol😅

The majority of these dishes came out in the 80’s and 90’s, not during the dust bowl. An example of this would be kale and chickpeas. 😮😮😮
