Hungary's Orban urges Ukraine to call a ceasefire

- Viktor Orban, the Hungarian leader often described as Putin’s closest European ally, has provocatively called for a “ceasefire” with Russia while standing beside Ukraine’s President Zelensky in wartorn Kyiv.
During his first trip to Ukraine since Russia’s invasion - and as Hungary takes the helm of the European Union’s rotating presidency - Orban broke ranks with other western leaders to complain that Ukraine’s resistance to Russia meant that peace talks were taking “too long”.
“I asked the president to think about whether we could reverse the order, and speed up peace talks by making a ceasefire first,” he said.

You know, when people are not dying by hundreds on a daily basis. All Orban did was to offer shelter to an average of 10.000 ucrainean refugees daily + humanitarian help sent in Ucraina.
