The last seconds. Same cross, different moments. As we hang around here, in this cold reality, Strings is perhaps in a better, warmer, sunnier place. So poetic. Beautiful tribute.
I know this is a tribute to Strings, rest in peace, but that huge cross in the snow reminds me strongly of LG Petrov who obviously Nicke played with in Entombed for some time. Rest in peace to both 🙏
I thought the same. The lyrics when he says "i'm sorry". There been too much bad blood between them thru the years. They split up 2 times. Last time a few years ago with lawyers and all that.
When Hellacopters broke up, back in 2008, and published a goodbye message, saying things like "The reasons behind this very difficult decision are many and too personal to go into here", it was clear for me that there was something between the members. It just wasn't clear which members yet. And then the band returned for a few shows in 2016. Without Robert Strings. For me there was a sign that it could be something with him. A year later, in 2017, the sadness we all know happened. We lost this brother who contributed so much to the band. From the lyrics of this song, it's clear that both sides of the band had things to work out behind the scenes, that we'll never know. Regardless of all that, I hope that we fans, band and friends, can always remember the good things Strings provided for us, with all your heart 💛⚡ Just like so many dear people we've lost in the last two years of a pandemic. Love and celebrate the good memories, always!
@@peixeiravalente Undoubtedly, the beauty of the art is to be something that allows many different interpretations and possibilities. Even so, given the lyric content of this song, and the same location of this cross, used in the last Strings music video (search Strängen - Bangatan) - and even the lyrics of Bangatan (an air of depression), - certainly had many issues between them and life, which we will never know. Viva essa banda foda🤘
Cold, bleak and growing and the air is stale I can see where this is going Well, you left behind a trail Of grief and trouble Oh, I should have seen the signs But don't make it double No, your burdens aren't mine I can hear you whisper Nigh on mumbling my name Barely spoken, yet staking your claim Well I'm sorry, I'm sorry But I won't apologize, no I just want you to know That I'm sorry, so sorry I could die I hear you crying and I feel for you But you know that I'm tryin' to carry my burden too Ooh, I'm so sorry, sorry all the time Yeah, I'm sorry, so sorry I could die I can hear you whisper Nigh on mumbling my name Barely spoken, yet staking your claim Well, I'm sorry, so sorry I won't apologize, no I just want you to know That I'm sorry, so sorry I could die I'm so sorry I'm so sorry I could die I can hear you whisper Nigh on mumbling my name Barely spoken, yet staking your claim Well I'm sorry, so sorry I won't apologize, no Just want you to know That I'm sorry, so sorry I could die I could die
I've discovered this veteran Swedish band only recently. I loved this smoky Blues Rock number after about eight bars. I'm afraid I don't know the story behind it - Copters diehards will I'm sure quickly enlighten me. It's a must-download. My Score: Very Good 4*
Hi! im from Argentina, latin america, im not an expert in english so maybe i will make mistakes in the way i made the answer. Dregen (the guitar guy with the hat, no the singer) was the original guitar from the hellacopters, but he left the band after two albums to return to Backyard Babies full-time (great band, also) so, Robert Strings take the place of Degren from the second album to the last one. The era of String was the best, for me. So, back in time, Robert "Strings" Dahlqvist was hired as a full-time lead guitarist in 1999. With the lineup now solidified, the band released three more studio albums (High Visibility, By the Grace of God, and Rock & Roll Is Dead) and a cover album (Head Off), with many EPs and limited edition releases as well. The Hellacopters disbanded amicably in 2008 so the members could move on to other projects. In February 2017 guitarist Robert Dahlqvist died at the age of 40. The band reassembled in 2016, initially for an exclusive performance at Sweden Rock Festival to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of their award-winning debut album Supershitty to the Max! So, i think this song is a sorry because, they never plays togethers since the breack up, in 2008 , and Dregen do it. Sadly, Robert is gone now, so, i think this is a way to make a tribute to him
Podoba mi się czarno biały teledysk 👍🏻 z angielskim nie radzę sobie za dobrze , ale rozumiem przekaz ..Super, wpada w ucho , dobrze brzmi 😍 Pozdrawiam dobrych ludzi 🙏
We should fight the good fight remain spiritual and do what is required to achieve results. Death happens to the one that doesnt fight for life. Spirituality is fighting for life and maintaining good health.
Maybe a bit late, but he was their guitar player from 1999 until they split in 2008, who sadly passed away in 2017. They reformed in 2016, then with their original guitar player.
The last few seconds hits like a bullet. What a tribute!!
RIP Strings.
that ending hits you like a hammer... what a loss...! RIP Strings!

Yeah, it looks like a "Left Hand path" cross, probably unintentionally
@@longonemil4359 Exactly my thoughts.
@@longonemil4359 Its the same cross as in "the Left Hand Path" Video"
@@zorrgal it was a good hunch then. Didn't want to claim it because I don't know how many crosses like this are in Sweden. Good to know, thanks much
This band can do no wrong. I'm just proud that i discoverd them on the ground floor. F'n LEGENDS.

100% agree
Makes sense, but that's one of the biggest powers of the death: the eternal maybe.
