@MWDAdventures I have yet to see an item I am interested in, so I will ask. Has anyone added a 2 bike rack to their trailer for E-bikes. They are heavy, about 70lbs each.
E-bikes are tricky. The back hitch can hold around 200# safely. You would want to make sure you have a bike rack rated for trailer use. Then you would have to consider weight distribution throughout the trailer as that is a lot of added weight on the back.
From what I see of the Boreas brand, their solution is to mount a 2” receiver in front of the front tool/storage box. 1Up USA makes a slide tray that acts as a ramp. Any welder local can also just weld plate steel on the front for 1 Up trays. Just need a place for the hardware to mount. Ask Hiker staff & I bet they have it as a special request option. Instead of a spare tire mount, just have them do a bike mount
