    Went here on my holidays this year it's a super spot especially for a family that wants a holiday that's not sitting out in the sun at a pool all day.I recommend 100% but if you have kids I would say bring another family with you or a friend for ur kids it makes it a lot more fun

    We are currently staying here in an Aspect caravan and I want to ask how much they paid you for the review. We went to the shop spent 170 euros and walked away with 4 shopping bags of rubbish. In the caravan (let's be honest that's what it is, a caravan) the dish washer has a hole in it. The fridge doesn't stay very cold at all we have ants all over the caravan too & the couch has a rip in it. I recieved an electric shock off the telly (sorry not tv. Its a dvd monitor)There are no foot paths around the caravans but there are massive pot holes for you tip toe around. I went arse over tit in one of these. We also had bird droppings all over the decking & the outdoor furniture & I mean all over it. The park is free but not at all big infact I would describe it as quite small with litter every were. You only have limited access to the pool. 10:00 until 14:00 that's if you book a day or 2 in advance & you can only go the amount of times there are people in your group for example 3 people on your holiday you can go 3 times. Won't be coming back that's for sure. I do have to say though. The Euro camp customer services on the phone back in the UK have been great. The Netherlands its self is a fantastic place & the Dutch are great people.
    To sum up.
    Netherlands lovely
    The Dutch great people
    Eurocamp & Duinrell shit hole. That's my experience anyway. We also met another couple with a baby. The have a hole in there ceiling/roof and mold on there walls.

    We’ve just watched from the UK. We’re about to book for 2020 (although not in a mobile home but camping), which is how I found you. I’m about to go and watch your other videos though, really enjoyed this. Thank you! X

      Well this park is great because it's right beside the campsite so you can relax while the kids enjoy all the rides unlimited times. (except the water park which you need to pay extra) So worth it!!!

    how exciting. this sounds like the adventure of a lifetime you and your children will never forget. do you strictly homeschool your girls or do they also attend local schools? language? and what do you and your husband do for living? happy for you guys to be on this life journey.

    • @GrowingUpWithoutBorders
      @GrowingUpWithoutBorders  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      It’s definitely an adventure! Yes we do homeschool our 3 girls full time. We speak English (of course) French and we can get by in Spanish. We work from home and run an Internet business which allows us to be location independent.
      I hope you’re enjoying our videos!

      Growing Up Without Borders Thank you. Sounds great. Homeschooling has so many benefits. I am sure you will pick up some more languages on the way. Good luck and happy times.

      Yeah. The camp sites in Europe are absolutely amazing. A really nice one that we discovered was in Spain. It’s called Camp Playa Bara....One of the best camp sites I’ve ever seen.
      Here’s the link to the video we did on it. th-cam.com/video/IZ3pqaGJbU0/w-d-xo.html

    Hi 👋🏽 we are from the uk can I ask a question please about the site is there any evening entertainment at all??

    • @GrowingUpWithoutBorders
      @GrowingUpWithoutBorders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think it depends on the time of the year but most camp sites do have fun activities for evening entertainment, dancing, shows. I honestly can't remember there being any when we were there but it's highly probable that there is.

      We went to De Efteling about 35 years ago. Was good, but some of the Grimms Fairytale stuff was a bit spooky. I think it will have changed since that time.

      I believe The Netherlands has the 3rd lowest grocery prices in Europe. This is mainly because 1) the NL has the highest supermarket density in the world. Around 6000 supermarkets in the whole of the NL (~40.000 Km2), so the competition between supermarkets is immense. And 2) the NL is one of the biggest producers of fresh agricultural goods in Europe, thx to its high tech cultivation methods (ie. LED lighting green houses, and other innovative methods to intensify agricultural production naturally, everything free of that GMO-crap of course, as that is forbidden in most of the EU-countries. Another important factor is that 3) the Netherlands is the 5th largest exporter of goods in the world, these goods include fresh goods, ie. fruits and veggies from Asia or South-America. These fresh fruits arrive at the Port of Rotterdam (one of the largest harbors in the world) and are distributed from there to other EU-countries, mostly by rail or by truck. The prices in the NL are relatively low as we have much lower transportation/distribution costs than other EU-countries...
