- Tikibad Duinrell is a fantastic indoor waterpark in the Netherlands with a wide variety of waterslides to make all ages happy. The Indoor Aquapark Tikibad located in Wassenaar has a freefall waterslide named ‘ Pelikaanduik ' in English ‘ Pelican Dive ' a cycloon waterslide also known as space bowl waterslide, a x-stream waterslide also known as looping rocket, super fast turbo waterslides named the flits & blits slides, tube slides like tyfoon - blauwe haai & groene barracuda and the moonlight & starfright waterslide, cannon ball freefall water slide and a triple cone water slide named the triton. Tikibad Duinrell have also kids waterslides like the hurri’cone - blue stripe and the green flash waterslide.

I love the design of this park. Living in America our parks are spread out over a large amount of land while always being outside. The use of the space offered is amazing! A great park where the slides look really fun without having to be the biggest or the fastest. The emphasis on enjoyment and fun are way bigger selling points to me vs. anything with extreme preceding the name of the slide.
It's really simple. We dont have much land to spread out on here. We're in a very tiny country! Also, this park is in the middle of the city. It has to be build like this.
And most of the parks are indoors so they can be enjoyed all year long. Since we have lots and lots of rainy days! Most of the parks have outside portions that are open on the hot days.
Yeah our parks are kind of lame besides the Disney ones, which are hella expensive and far away.
We do have a good amount of indoor water parks in the US. The largest one is in Wisconsin. We have like four Great Woof Lodges with large indoor water parks. The largest one in the US is in Wisconsin Dells. There are like four around there . We have indoor water parks on the east coast . You just have to research and ask around .

I didn’t notice any lifeguards? It Seems like everyone there obeys the lights well. That would never happen in America .

Oh, there’s plenty of lifeguards. You just don’t notice them. Plus, there’s camera’s at some places to ensure the safety of the people.

I'm from Belgium, and we would go there with the entire family for summer vacations. Everyone would go, siblings, cousins, grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, aunt, and uncle. Now we don't do it anymore since it got old, and the COVID outbreak, but this just brings back memories man, thanks

I always tell myself, "yeah, I could do that!" But I swear if I were there I would be too chicken
I was almost too chicken on the first one, as it’s vertical, and the other ones I attempted and did, I didn’t do the plug hole one, as I was too short (sad times) or the other vertical one, but did all the rest.
once you do it its not that bad anymore ive been to that park before, rollercoasters are worse

The scare is only at the start.. Then u ll feel the thrill of it.. My then bf now fiance was scared of slides.. He just enjoys the wave pool 😂after lot of forcing to get into a small slide he became confident n now he motivates me when I chicken out on large slides 😂yes the scary part is the first time then u feel the thrill😅
best waterpark of my childhood, went here in 2008, drove all the way from france brittany where I lived at the time, well worth it.

i go here a lot and it is actually the best place on earth. the life guards are super nice and the wave pool happens every 15 minutes and the waves are really big

Moonlight and starlight were my favourite water slides because I kept thinking I was in Star Wars when the little lights came on on the moonlight one! EPIC
I visited this place loads when I was growing up, this brought back loads of old memories so thanks for sharing, makes me want to go back 😌
12:27 in the 90's those two slides didn't have traffic lights and riding was unregulated so we used to pile in 15 people at a time on school trips. Then someone would slow down or stop half way and trigger a massive crash or we'd race / brawl to get past each other on the way down. Finally everyone would exit into the pool in a tangled mess. It was awesome. I miss the 90s.

I'm a midget and don't know how to swim so when my family goes to these types of things I just watch.The only ones I can do are the ones without the pool part unless it's shallow water but that's really it lol😂. Have an AMAZING day and night!!!!
Most slides in Duinrell and many other waterparks end in 20-30cm deep water, so you don't have to be able to swim. Just check the slide exit before you go down and pick one with shallow water. If you are nervous have family member go first and wait at the exit, ready to help.

I remember coming to this park every year in autumn when i was younger, its really fun there! The aquapark has to be a highlight, but also the attractions outside of it are nice.

Eu acho que é porque eles tem invernos rigorosos, e verão não tão quente igual o nosso então o parque coberto dá para aproveitar independente do clima ruim. Mas, concordo que sem sol não tem graça, parece um shopping lol
