I lived in a 32 square meter appartment with 60 plants... Glad I recently moved to a two story house with southern facing windows and 80 square meters along with a big roof terrace. I am never moving again, they'll have to drag me away. I love your thrifted early Mondriaan planter. I love ugly-pretty pots!!! Especially the retro funky ones that say made in West Germany on the bottom, I keep finding these because I'm your neighbour from the Netherlands. Really fits the gorgeous plant stand you got. I got exactly the same taste. Retro vintage all the way.

The soltech lights really are incredible. The price is worth it if you’ve got demanding plants.
To build the same light output by buying leds and connecting them to a heat sink and driver is actually not all that much cheaper. And it would look like garbage without a lot of work. I’d do a DIY light for a grow tent, but certainly not my living room.
That's a good point Steve. I Agree, you put it quite well. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I also started out with cheap led bars from the hardwearstore because I wanted to save money, back in the day. I've tried lots of Amazon lighting and It's definetly not all bad, but most of it isn't pretty or very functional at all.

repotted my plant in May after moving to Florida in January. It’s growing so quickly now and I’m getting a lot more arial roots. Can I repot it in the same pot just to try and reposition it? I didn’t do it when I repotted and went bigger in May. I’m worried it’s too soon and I’ll hurt my monstera.

I wanted to ask a rookie question to seek some help with my own monstera large form. I have a low light apartment and want to supplement my monstera with a good grow light, but am wondering how to acclimate the plant to the bright light.. if I directly install the light and keep my plant underneath it, will it cause stress to the plant? does it need to be acclimated to the bright light? could it cause sunburns to the leaves ?
